In 'Try: We Become a Miracle', the seven members of the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team, who will showcase the spirit of youth, have been revealed.
Scheduled to air for the first time on the 25th (Friday), the new SBS weekend drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' (written by Lim Jin-ah, directed by Jang Young-seok, hereinafter referred to as 'Try') is a comedic coming-of-age sports drama in which the unpredictable quirky director Joo Ga-ram and the perennially last-place Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team race toward winning the National Sports Festival. Director Jang Young-seok, who co-directed the drama 'Taxi Driver 2', and writer Lim Jin-ah, who won the top prize in the SBS Cultural Foundation script competition, have joined forces, and a solid cast with acting skills and healthy energy, including Yoon Kye-sang (as Joo Ga-ram), Lim Se-mi (as Bae Ji), and Kim Yo-han (as Yoon Sung-jun) has come together, raising expectations.
Among them, the stills of Kim Yo-han, Kim Yi-jun, Lee Soo-chan, Yoon Jae-chan, Hwang Seong-bin, Pyoh Seon-ho, and Jo Han-gyeol, who are united as the perennially last-place rugby team, have drawn attention.
Kim Yo-han transforms into Yoon Sung-jun, the FM captain of the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team, exuding a commanding presence on the field. Kim Yi-jun plays the vice-captain Oh Young-gwang, who dreams of escaping the rugby team to become a civil servant, while Lee Soo-chan portrays the content creator So Myung-woo, who prioritizes filming over rugby. Additionally, Yoon Jae-chan takes on the role of Do Hyeong-sik, the icon of sudden outbursts, and Hwang Seong-bin plays Kim Joo-yang, who possesses a physicality akin to a bull but a gentle sensitivity. The seven members of the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team, including Woo Min-kyu, who is transforming into the bulked-up Muk-jjang Pyoh Seon-ho, and Jo Han-gyeol as the bold youngest member Kang Tae-poong, are gearing up to charm viewers with their stunning appeal.
The photos released on the 10th capture the early days of the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team, stirring curiosity. They are expected to engage in fierce competition for charm. First, Yoon Sung-jun captivates attention with his right-angled shoulders and well-defined muscles, honed by sports, in the middle of the field, causing warmth to erupt.
In contrast to the visually strong leader Yoon Sung-jun, the appearances of seniors Oh Young-gwang and So Myung-woo from the rugby team are revealed. Oh Young-gwang, deeply focused on the bench, continues to face a string of incorrect answers, surprising laughter. Moreover, So Myung-woo, gripping a camera instead of a rugby ball during a match, exudes the scent of a show-off, drawing laughs. In particular, Yoon Sung-jun, Oh Young-gwang, and So Myung-woo are expected to showcase their close chemistry as classmates in the third year, engaging in conflicts that draw them closer.
Meanwhile, Do Hyeong-sik, who is as unpredictable as a rugby ball that could explode at any moment, Kim Joo-yang, whose physique and gaze exceed high school level, and Pyoh Seon-ho, who is seen crouched on the field devouring bread in a hurry, stand out with their unique characters as second-year rugby high school students, aiming for laughs. Lastly, Kang Tae-poong, equipped with a spirit that belies his first-year status, is generating anticipation.
With Kim Yo-han leading the charge, Kim Yi-jun, Lee Soo-chan, Yoon Jae-chan, Hwang Seong-bin, Woo Min-kyu, and Jo Han-gyeol have united as the next-generation stars, possessing solid acting skills and fresh appeal, raising expectations for the comedic chemistry they will create as they tackle the struggles and faces of youth.
The new SBS weekend drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle', which will fill this summer with the energy of passionate youth, will premiere on the 25th (Friday) at 9:50 p.m.
