WayV is delivering new songs infused with various musical colors through their new mini album "BIG BANDS."
WayV's seventh mini album "BIG BANDS" consists of a total of six tracks, including Korean and Chinese versions of the title track "BIG BANDS," set to be released on July 18 at 1 p.m. (Korea Standard Time) across various music sites.
The album includes "Your Song (的歌)," a song that combines a rhythmic groove with acoustic guitar, conveying a message of being each other's bright light in the darkness and running towards the same dream, with the composition by "hitmaker" KENZIE, who worked on "Give Me That," which gave WayV their first music show win, and the lyrics contributed by member Kun, adding warmth to the song.
Another new song "Ice Tea" features a strong chorus part and a fun party atmosphere, creating a unique vibe in English, showcasing WayV's diverse charms, and the group has seen great popularity with their English songs such as "Love Talk," "Miracle," "Call Me," and "Filthy Rich," indicating high expectations.
Additionally, capturing moments of WayV delivering hot energy and passionate performances is the 90s-inspired hip-hop track "WOAH (燃点)," and a medium-tempo pop song "Sad Eyes (眼)" that delicately expresses the pain of separation and longing for a partner, leaving a deep resonance with the members' falsetto.
Moreover, WayV unveiled new teaser images and mood films through their official SNS on the 9th, catching attention with members who have become a crew with special abilities gathering in a grand and overwhelming atmosphere to reveal their hidden identities.
Meanwhile, WayV's seventh mini album "BIG BANDS" will also be released in physical format on July 18, and pre-order purchases are currently available at various online and offline music stores.
