Scarlett Johansson talked about casting.
On the 9th, Scarlett Johansson appeared relaxed and positive about being the second choice for casting on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block.'
Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Scarlett Johansson's character Black Widow in her films. Scarlett Johansson said, "I love Natasha too. After acting as Black Widow for about 10 years, I can see the character's growth. I have grown closer to other actors and have become family."
Scarlett Johansson candidly shared, "I auditioned and talked to the director about the character, but I didn't pass the audition. I was very disappointed. However, the actor who was cast dropped out, and I was contacted again. It was the best phone call I've ever received. It feels much better to take on a role I couldn't get before."
Scarlett Johansson noted, "You have to keep all the doors of opportunity open. I have never been upset about being the second choice. I am grateful when opportunities arise again."
Scarlett Johansson said, "I might have needed a process of challenging myself and experiencing disappointment. When the opportunity comes again, I can be more thankful."
Scarlett Johansson stated, "When I was first cast and heard the overall story, I worried about how fans would view my portrayal of Black Widow. Fortunately, they liked it a lot, and I got to be part of 'Avengers' as well," adding, "'Avengers' was also a first attempt, so I didn't know how it would turn out. But it became a successful series."
