A controversy regarding favoritism towards acquaintances has emerged about director Kim Jae-hwan, who is making headlines as the 'sharpshooter targeting Paik Jong-won.'

On the 9th, a media outlet raised suspicions about the collusion between director Kim Jae-hwan and celebrity A. Amidst Kim Jae-hwan's rising popularity as the 'sharpshooter targeting Paik Jong-won,' concerns were raised regarding his biased actions, such as promoting events related to his acquaintance A.

The media outlet that first reported this alleged that director Kim Jae-hwan criticized Theborn Korea's regional festival consulting business in a video titled 'Why is Paik Jong-won so dedicated to regional festivals?' It also pointed out exemplary cases of regional festivals, notably mentioning events headed by Commissioner A.

A is a person who established a connection with director Kim Jae-hwan through their past works. Last month, A revealed their friendship by highlighting director Kim as a model journalist on social media.

Director Kim Jae-hwan, a former MBC cultural program producer, debuted as a documentary film director in 2011 through 'True Taste Show.' He has since presented works such as 'Memories of MB,' 'Quo Vadis,' 'Confession,' 'Miss President,' and 'Chilgok Gashinadeul.'

Recently, he has been presenting content related to Paik Jong-won, the CEO of Theborn Korea, through his YouTube channel 'Studio Ojaena.' In particular, he has been revealing various controversies surrounding Theborn Korea on YouTube, with each video exceeding 1 million views. This has led to him being referred to as the 'sharpshooter targeting Paik Jong-won' among subscribers and certain internet users. However, in a video released on the morning of the 9th, he attracted attention by adding, 'Please do not trust me too much. Even if I suddenly stop the Paik Jong-won series, please understand that this person also needs his time.'

Theborn Korea is currently under investigation for various charges, including violations of origin labeling laws, livestock hygiene management violations, food sanitation law violations, and food labeling and advertising law violations. In response, CEO Paik Jong-won stated, "All issues lie with me. I will make a painful commitment to reform the organization and change the corporate culture through communication with employees." It has also been reported that he has focused on management at Theborn Korea and franchise management, having ceased broadcasting activities except for those programs being filmed since last May.
