The ‘real-life special’ of SBS ‘Wow! Really? Amazing things in the world’ features a ‘young archery prodigy’ who set a new record at the National Youth Sports Festival for the first time in 19 years.
In the 7th episode of SBS ‘Wow! Really? Amazing things in the world,’ airing on the 10th, voice actor Nam Do-hyung will join the four MCs, Jun Hyun-moo, Baek Ji-young, Kim Ho-young, and Subin, as a ‘guest’ in the studio, where the main characters of the astonishing stories within the ‘real-life special’ will be revealed.
From ‘real-life Jumong’ to ‘real-life Bruce Lee’ and ‘Children of Light,’ a total of three stories are prepared, and on this day, Jun Hyun-moo will introduce Nam Do-hyung, saying, “We have invited the star voice actor who is responsible for the voice of our program as a guest.” The voice actor, who saw his popularity soar as a ‘Culinary Class Wars’ participant, noted, “As of 2025, it has been 20 years since my debut. I have participated in over 300 works,” and made a surprise announcement, saying, “Today, I will dub the narration for the ‘real-life special’ preview live right here.” He then sits in the studio, watching the preview screen and live-narrating, which leaves Jun Hyun-moo and Baek Ji-young astonished, saying, “This is really amazing!”
As the studio’s atmosphere heats up, the first protagonist of the ‘real-life special,’ ‘real-life Jumong,’ makes an appearance. Regarding the student Shin Dong-joo, who is currently in the 6th grade, Jang Yeong-sool, vice president of the Korea Archery Association, confidently explains, “He set a new record at this National Youth Sports Festival for the first time in 19 years. He shot a total of 36 arrows and recorded a perfect score, hitting the center (X10) 25 times. He might be an athlete we could see at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics!” Following that, the amazing records and skills of Shin Dong-joo are revealed, leading Baek Ji-young to marvel, “He really is like Jumong!” and Jun Hyun-moo to express, “He should get insurance for his arm.”
Meanwhile, on this day, student Shin Dong-joo draws attention by visiting the Jincheon National Training Center located in Jincheon, Chungbuk. Archery gold medalists Kim Woo-jin, Kim Je-deok, and Im Si-hyun, among others, gather to welcome student Shin Dong-joo and his fellow archery club members, with Kim Woo-jin, especially, sharing heartfelt advice as he is also from the same elementary school as Shin Dong-joo. Jun Hyun-moo watches with pride and expresses support, saying, “I hope there will come a day when I get to commentate on Shin Dong-joo’s archery.”
