The group ILLIT proved its hot popularity by selling out all performances of the fan concert 'GLITTER DAY' in Japan, following its success in Korea.
According to Belift Lab on the 8th, general reserved tickets for ILLIT (Yuna, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) for the '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN' (hereinafter 'GLITTER DAY') have all been sold out. The concert will be held on August 10-11 and September 3-4 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, for a total of four performances.
ILLIT demonstrated exceptional ticket power by selling out fan concert tickets even before officially releasing an album in Japan. Benefiting from this popularity, they will open additional tickets for limited-view and standing sections at Lawson Ticket at 8 p.m. tomorrow (9th).
Previously, ILLIT sold out all seats for two performances of 'GLITTER DAY', which took place at Olympic Park in Songpa District, Seoul, on the 7th and 8th of last month, through pre-sales only.
The interest in ILLIT within Japan was confirmed in various first-half settlement of accounts. Their first original Japanese song, 'Almond Chocolate', released in February, surpassed 50 million cumulative streams on Oricon (as of July 7), setting the record for the most streams among foreign female artists for the first half of this year. This song was the only K-pop group song ranked in Amazon Music's 'Top 50 Comprehensive Chart of the First Half of 2025'. Additionally, ILLIT entered the first-half settlement of accounts rankings of Billboard Japan and Rakuten Music, becoming the only K-pop artist with two songs ('Magnetic', 'Almond Chocolate') ranked.
ILLIT's new release is also loved by Japanese fans. The mini-album 'bomb', released on the 16th of last month, surpassed the sales of its predecessor in just one day, dominating the top of major album charts on Oricon and Billboard Japan.
