The late actress Choi Jin-sil's daughter, Choi Jun-hee, revealed her plastic surgery review.
On the 7th, a video titled "Smooth Contour,,, Under-eye tightness,,, VLOG" was uploaded to Choi Jun-hee's YouTube channel.
Previously, Choi Jun-hee had announced the news of her contouring and eye surgery, hinting at the upcoming vlog upload. On this day, she shared her changes over a month after surgery through the YouTube video.
Just after the operation, Choi Jun-hee appeared with a bandage on and said, "It hurts. I feel like I've been assaulted. I keep tasting the anesthesia in my mouth. My eyes are really bad. But didn't I also have the under-eye tightness? So I can't wear contact lenses. Wearing glasses makes it awkward. Isn’t it funny?"
Later, when she was about to eat beef and vegetable porridge with a grilled egg and chicken breast, she became flustered and said, "I can't chew with my mouth." Suffering from the pain, she added, "I took a nap all day and just woke up. It hurt so much when I was eating the porridge earlier. I absolutely can't chew, so I'm drinking soy milk," and noted, "Doesn't it look really ugly? Now that it's evening, the pain seems better than earlier, but my conjunctiva is swollen like a frog's egg. It’s been a day, but I'm already happy with the silhouette, and I hope the swelling goes down quickly."
On the second day, Choi Jun-hee, still looking puffy, said, "I've become a bit more swollen compared to yesterday, and the bruise under my eye has deepened a bit. Since I had the under-eye tightness done at the same time, the swelling of the conjunctiva seems to have worsened compared to before. It seems worse on the left side. It's not painful or anything, so I'm not particularly worried. But it definitely feels swollen here because of the taping and bandaging, but I can feel the bone. I didn't hit my bones during surgery, did I? But the V-line is incredibly defined. I hope to take off the bandage soon."
After the hospital removed her bandage, when asked for her thoughts, Choi Jun-hee said, "I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can see the results clearly." In response to the question, "Aren't most people too scared of plastic surgery to go through with it?" she noted, "Even I was scared of this surgery. It’s quite an intense operation, so it might just be my feeling, but the anesthesia was really strong, and I'm not typically afraid of the operating room, but the operating room seems to have stuck in my memory as scary. It was a bit scary. Now, I just want the swelling to go down quickly. I'm having trouble seeing because of conjunctival edema."
As time passed, Choi Jun-hee appeared with noticeably reduced swelling. He said, "The swelling around my eyes has lessened a bit, and the yellow bruise is coming down. The face shape doesn’t seem too swollen, but there are still some areas that feel somewhat hard. I really don’t know when the conjunctival edema will go away. Maybe it will disappear after I get the stitches out?"
"Today marks about the 14th day since my surgery. I’ve had the stitches in my face and eyes removed, but my eyes are still a bit red. I think I need to wait a bit longer for that. Since the swelling hasn’t gone down on this side yet, I covered it with my collar and styled it up. I had to style my outfit for a shoot, so I had no choice but to try to pull it off somehow. Sunglasses will be a must for a while. I think I can wear contact lenses starting today, so I wore clear lenses. Wearing something hydrating shouldn’t be a problem. My eyesight is really bad, so when I wear glasses, my eyes get tiny. So, I wore clear lenses today, and fortunately, there isn’t any discomfort. It’s the 14th day, and this part still feels a bit tight. If I just keep watching this area, I think it will get better."
One month after the surgery, Choi Jun-hee surprised everyone with her noticeably slimmer appearance. He explained, "This is what I look like about a month later. I feel like my midface has become significantly shorter. You all might not notice it, but that’s how I feel. My jawline is also sharper, and with the eye and under-eye tightness, the area has decreased, making my eyes feel much bigger. Right now, there isn't much pain or bruising, but when I touch my cheeks, it still feels a bit tight."
"And they say it takes about three months for the surgery to really show results and for me to look pretty. Since it’s only been a little over a month, I’m really looking forward to the fall when my face stabilizes. I've already started to feel changes in myself, and there's no discomfort in my daily life. So I’m satisfied. My jawline has also become cleaner, and I used to have a plump and round feeling here, but that’s been much improved."
