Actress Lee Mi-sook talked about her scandal with a man 17 years younger than her.
On the 7th, a video titled "Do I only like younger men?! Mi-sook, who neatly sorted out the rumors!" was posted on the YouTube channel "Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeob."
In the released video, actress Lee Mi-sook appeared as a guest, and Shin Dong-yeob asked, "Aren't you still dreaming of love, sister?"
Lee Mi-sook replied, "No. My charm as an actress is being a woman, and don't you think I shouldn't lose my attractiveness as a woman? That’s a concern I have when I reach my 40s and 50s. Am I losing my attractiveness?"
She added, "Anyway, if that (romantic) attractiveness disappears, I will have limitations regarding roles, and that's a thought I have. To confirm that, I might do something rash, and it can lead to mistakes."
Upon hearing this, Shin Dong-yeob mentioned, "Did you confirm that with a younger guy in the past?" referring to the "17-year-old younger man scandal" that Lee Mi-sook was involved in previously.
In response, Lee Mi-sook filed a damages lawsuit against the reporter and, as a follow-up to the civil lawsuit, criminally accused the reporter and the former agency representative of defamation by spreading false facts.
Additionally, when appearing at the police station, Lee Mi-sook expressed, "Please do not waver and see the truth hidden behind lies. This is for the entertainment industry and for one person," revealing her feelings.
In this regard, Lee Mi-sook said, "That's not it. The title of being younger is... people do not want to hear the previous explanation, right? They simply write it down as letters."
She continued, "Anyway, I am an actress. I console myself by thinking I have not lost my attractiveness as a woman. Just as they attack me directly, I take that in my own way. But this is something everyone experiences in life, and everyone can make mistakes. Since we are entertainers, we are subjected to many judgments, but I see it as something that just passes by."
Lee Mi-sook also joked, "So, isn't dating someone younger better than someone older?"
