Members Hoshi and Woozi of SEVENTEEN will enlist in September.
SEVENTEEN's agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on the 8th, "Woozi is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on September 15, and Hoshi on September 16."
Hoshi and Woozi will fulfill their scheduled activities, including the 'HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]' performance and the video fan signing event for their 5th album, as their final official activities before military enlistment.
The agency said, "Since the entrance ceremony will be attended by many soldiers and their families, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the site," and stated, "Please leave your send-offs and words of encouragement for Hoshi and Woozi through Weverse."
It continued, "We ask for the unwavering love and support of Carats so that Hoshi and Woozi can fulfill their military duties faithfully and return in even better health. Our company will also spare no effort in continuously supporting our artists."
Meanwhile, Hoshi and Woozi have been active as representatives of the '96 line after showcasing their first unit song ‘Shoot Me’ in 2017 and dominating the charts with their recently released single 'BEAM' in March. Currently, Hoshi and Woozi are meeting global fans through their first fan concert 'WARNING.'
The following is the full statement from the agency.
Hello.
This is Pledis Entertainment.
