Director Lee Sang-geun, known for 'Exit', presents the dark and spicy comedy 'Pretty Crazy' (provided/distributed by CJ ENM | produced by Ouyun Naegang Co., Ltd. | directed by Lee Sang-geun), which has revealed the first job hell still, showcasing the crazy and lively chemistry between Lim Yoona and Ahn Bo-hyun.
'Pretty Crazy' tells the story of 'Gil-koo' (Ahn Bo-hyun), a youth who ends up taking an extraordinary part-time job to monitor 'Seon-ji' (Lim Yoona), who wakes up as a devil every dawn, leading to a soul-stirring comedy.
Lim Yoona and Ahn Bo-hyun have a shocking first meeting through 'Pretty Crazy'. Lim Yoona plays the addictive devil Seon-ji who runs a bakery during the day but wakes up as a higher-level devil in the early morning without realizing it. On the other hand, Ahn Bo-hyun portrays the harmless youth Gil-koo, who takes on the role of protector for the devil Seon-ji, who wakes up every dawn due to a lucky part-time job opportunity. Despite his large size like a giant dog, he is pure-hearted and gentle.
Through 'Pretty Crazy', Lim Yoona and Ahn Bo-hyun are expected to showcase an unprecedented charm and extraordinary chemistry, as the first still from the job hell has been released. The still depicts Gil-koo starting his job protecting the devil Seon-ji. As Gil-koo jumps into the chilling job hell that begins every dawn, he serves Seon-ji water with a straw to help her hydrate comfortably. Curiosity is piqued regarding their shocking chemistry.
Lim Yoona noted, 'We became close while filming, which allowed us to shoot comfortably. I believe that chemistry has been fully reflected in the work.' Ahn Bo-hyun remarked, 'I was impressed by how comfortably Lim Yoona interacted with the staff and cast on set. I learned a lot from her as a senior actor and felt she could be a fellow actor to work with for a long time.'
Regarding the acting chemistry between the two, director Lee Sang-geun commented, 'Through researching together and matching their performances in every scene, the two have become quite close. Their chemistry has become a strong asset to the film. There is a noticeable size difference between them, which has also contributed to the so-called “size chemistry”.' This has led to expectations not only for their acting chemistry but also for their visuals on screen.
The film will be released in theaters on Aug. 13 (Wed.).
