WSWF enters the semifinal that will determine the fate of four crews.
The 7th episode of Mnet's 'Street Woman Fighter' (directed by Kwon Young-chan and Choi Jeong-nam, hereafter referred to as 'WSWF'), airing today (8th) at 10 p.m., begins the semifinal, which is the last hurdle to the final and a new elimination team will emerge. The semifinal will be richly filled with two missions: 'global artist performance mission' and 'dance film mission'.
As the semifinal approaches, the broadcast will first unveil the 'global artist performance mission'. Following 'WSWF' season 1’s Jessie and season 2’s Hwasa, this season features global artist Saweetie, who has hinted at an overwhelming scale.
The four crews that survived the mega crew mission will creatively reinterpret and showcase the music, character, worldview, and energy of Saweetie in their own unique styles. Aaliyah of AG SQUAD, Leejung of BUMSUP, Kaidi of MOTIV, and Minami of OSAKA Ojo Gang will take on the roles of Saweetie, showcasing a distinctive presence representing each crew.
The preview video released ahead of the 7th episode shows Saweetie observing the performances of each crew along with reactions from the opposing teams, heightening curiosity. "While watching the video, I wanted to be Leejung," "Did they really do that?", and "It was very 'Saweetie'-like" are comments pouring in, raising more questions about who will ultimately be chosen by Saweetie.
After the 'global artist performance mission', the second semifinal mission, the 'dance film mission', will commence. The fierce competition among the four semifinalists is expected to be captivating. AG SQUAD declared, "It’s the last chance to the final," while BUMSUP stated, "We will prove it through dance rather than a hundred words." MOTIV and OSAKA Ojo Gang also conveyed their determination, saying, "We will pour everything we have," and "We will never let our team give up, no matter what happens," intensifying the tension.
Meanwhile, Saweetie's new song 'Shake It Fast (Prod. THE HUB)' will be released on various music sites today (8th) at 6 p.m. (KST). Mnet's 'WSWF', which is heating up the atmosphere with increasingly thrilling 'dance battles' as the episodes progress, airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. (KST).
