Actor Ryu Jin recently shared his update about moving out of his Cheongna home into a new house.
On the 7th, a video titled "Leaving the Cheongna house... (moving company, marital disputes, new house reveal)" was uploaded on the "Most Amazing Ryu Jin" channel.
On that day, Ryu Jin said, "There are about a week left until the move, and I started packing yesterday. So, the bags are spread out in the hallway," revealing a disorganized scene in the house. His wife expressed concern, saying, "What's spread out here is all the children's toys, right? When will you clean all this up? What are you going to do? It's distressing."
He looked at Ryu Jin's room piled high with bags and asked, "Did you organize it?" Ryu Jin replied, "I did organize it. Last time, I had a bit of an argument with Chan Hyung's mother. It was more like a difference of opinion. In a way, shouldn't I be thanked for living together in this room for several years, considering all this stuff outside and the bags all called the storage room?" His wife probed, "Did the kids buy those toys, or did you buy them?" Ryu Jin claimed, "I bought them, but it was necessary at the time, and we agreed on it." His wife emphasized, "I didn't agree."
Ryu Jin then said, "The bags here are from my hobby of collecting Legos before I got married. A little before and after the marriage. There are Lego boxes and Gundam too. It’s not just Legos." He added, "Why are you getting your blood pressure up? In fact, shouldn't they be pitiful? They've been sealed away for so long, and who knows when they'll see the light of day again? I'm living, waiting for the day when I can lay them out in a broader space. Anyway, they are all compressed and organized well."
Especially, the hallway was filled with stuffed animals, catching attention. His wife remarked, "There was a lot of opposition to this, but whenever just the three of us went out, we came back with a ton of them. In fact, we can't even dispose of them. There were times they cried and came to look for them after they were disposed of." Ryu Jin said, "I asked Chan Hyung lightly yesterday, and he said it was hard to throw away items with memories. When I said to organize these stuffed animals, he requested to keep the Angry Birds ones. So, I will start to organize, but there aren't many stuffed animals that can actually be disposed of." His wife added, "I'm just asking you to keep them for two years. After two years, I’ll be independent," to which Ryu Jin said, "He asked me to keep them until he turns 30," drawing laughter.
After much back and forth, Ryu Jin, who had reduced the stuffed animals, insisted, "We clearly organized together. Don't say anything to me now; I’m not throwing it away," reminding him of his efforts. He vented, "What I removed is hardly anything. Ultimately, it will end up in the room I use, which is upsetting." He continued, "What will we do with this can? I’ve tried to throw it away several times, and it keeps saying not to throw it away. To me, they all seem ordinary. What’s so valuable about them?" Chan Hyung shot back, "I will display them after we move."
Ryu Jin also started organizing the mini cars he had collected. He said, "You all know this, right? It's a mini car. It would be great to keep it like this while moving, but that’s not possible. The durability is weak, and it can get damaged. It can get scratched in the car," while his wife chimed in, "I also really liked this stuff, but I got tired of it because of you and Chan Hyung. How will you pack them?" Ryu Jin explained, "I’m trying to separate the upper and lower sections. Originally, this wasn't a hobby done by people who frequently move. So I planned to do this after settling in, but even this time, it’s not a settlement, so what if we just store them?" to which she commented, "Then what about this display case?"
Ryu Jin stated, "When I die, this can be sold," to which his wife questioned, "How much will that be? Didn’t you say you bought these for 2,000 won or 3,000 won each?" Ryu Jin replied, "You don’t watch my YouTube?" and Chan Ho revealed, "There’s one that costs 100,000 won," which made his wife furious.
After finishing the packing of the moving boxes, on the day of the move, Ryu Jin appeared busy starting at 7 a.m. He said, "It’s moving day. I’ve been packing, throwing away, and sharing for three days, and I’m moving some things into the new house. It’s truly exhausting. In the past, my wife moved everything alone during two moves when I wasn't there on moving day. She's an amazing mother. However, during this move preparation, there were parts where we didn't agree, resulting in arguments that weren't exactly arguments. There are differences in our thoughts. I hope the move goes well."
While organizing the items delivered by the moving company, he took refuge in the hallway and said, "I’ve done everything I can. There’s nothing more I can do inside. My feet are moving while I’m standing and walking, and the most painful part is my feet. They hurt so much that I took anti-inflammatory painkillers last night. Meanwhile, Chan Ho went to the swimming pool. It’s better that he's not here. Chan Hyung will also be leaving soon, so it's better that they aren't here," adding, "Ultimately, the house I got attached to for three years has been completely emptied. I’m doing a last check. The house is very spacious."
Carrying the items into the new house under heavy rain, Ryu Jin commented, "The Lego's are coming in. Why is there so much kitchenware? I said the view was nice, but the view is starting to be obstructed because of the boxes." He continued, "It's dark outside now. Everyone is hurrying, but I couldn't figure out where to put the boxes, so I just put them all out and took them back again. It was difficult to work, so for now, I’ve taken everything outside, but I don’t know if all the items will fit inside."
Looking at his disorganized room, he lamented, "As you can see, the room has shrunk, and the unattractive boxes will all be coming in here. I somewhat expected this. In this small room, there will be a bookshelf, a large desk, that Lego, and even a bicycle." Unfortunately, the mini car display case broke during the moving process. Ryu Jin remarked, "The acrylic fell and shattered. So, all the fixing points are broken. Seeing Chan Hyung's mom smiling, it seems like what I expected has happened," while his wife clarified, "No, that’s not it."
Ryu Jin stressed, "I absolutely will not throw it away," and his wife replied, "I’m not saying to throw it away." In response, Ryu Jin explained, "Originally, I said we should share this in half when it was made, but I asked to have it all in one. And then you pointed this out. Back then. Still, I won’t throw it away for now and will use it as my wife wants," expressing, "You worked hard, and you struggled too. When it was empty, it looked completely like a new house. After putting everything in, it turned back to being just like the old house."
