Actress Soi-hyun shared her skincare secrets.

On the 8th, a video titled "Skincare secrets for a cool summer that you'll keep using once you try it" was uploaded to the 'Soi-hyun In-kyo-jin (INSO COUPLE)' channel.

On this day, when Soi-hyun was asked, "Between summer and winter, when do you focus more on skincare?" she explained, "If you skip skincare in winter, you'll have more wrinkles. If you skip summer skincare, your skin will sag."

In-kyo-jin expressed his gratitude, saying, "I feel thankful for my wife who helps me with my skincare, even though I’m a man in my mid-40s, born in 1980." Soi-hyun also noted, "I work hard on my skincare. I’m lucky to have good skin naturally."

In response, Soi-hyun stated, "That's why I say to do more in summer. You need to do more of everything for summer skincare. After all, we can't avoid water activities. When we go on vacation, if we don’t concentrate on care, we can miss out. So there are essential items that I have to bring during vacations. Looking around, I see my friends in beauty while on air, and when they go on vacation, they always take these three items. I make sure to mix them and apply them all together."

He said, "I think the number one thing is night care. It’s the easiest and the time I can invest in myself before sleep, 30 minutes to an hour. If you use this time well, your skin can age less." In-kyo-jin added, "I've done that too. I put on a mask and drink wine in the evening."

Soi-hyun asked, "Do we really have to do this much?" and confirmed, "Yes, we do. Especially in summer when you drink alcohol, your body heats up, right? The worst thing for the skin is heat. Enlarged pores are a result of that. Once they enlarge, they sag. If your face sags, they get even bigger. That’s why nighttime care is essential in summer. I still keep around 20 to 50 masks in my fridge, in various types. It’s important to store them in a cool fridge and use them morning and evening. I really recommend doing one mask a day. I’m a mask enthusiast. Lately, there are masks that help manage spots; after leaving one on for about an hour, your skin tone appears brighter."

She continued, "If you just manage the spot tone well, it can look brighter. Separating by type, there are lines that manage spots, collagen, and moisture for facial lifting. This one is meant for real lifting. The reason I use this lately is that during the day, due to high temperatures, when I wake up, my face swells from the air conditioning or fan. When I need to go out and need to de-puff quickly, I put this on right after washing my face to lift it. In a short time, the puffiness goes down, and my jawline looks defined again. In summer, managing elasticity and puffiness is important, so it’s great to use in the morning when I feel swollen. Using collagen and moisture masks daily is really good, and when I’m exposed to a lot of sunlight, it’s better to use them together with a spot ampoule. I keep about eight different types of masks for this purpose."

In-kyo-jin said, "I won’t skip this. I’m going to live to 200 with this skin," and Soi-hyun responded, "If you do a little bit every day, like hip-up squats, it makes a difference, right? If you do masks daily, it also makes a difference." She added, "I truly do the most masks in summer. And I minimize makeup, really just using a tone-up cream. Mixing sunscreen and tone-up cream makes the face look dull. I mix half tone-up cream and half sunscreen and apply it on my face as needed. I can apply it often. But if I layer cushion or foundation over dusty skin, my face can’t help but look bad. That's why I mix sunscreen with tone-up cream and apply it often. I always cleanse, no matter how tired I am. Even if I feel like I’m about to die, I cleanse before sleeping. After that, since it’s hard to apply multiple products, I want to put a mask from the fridge and go to sleep."

He shared tips on summer skincare: "Reduce heat. You need to release the heat you accumulate throughout the day to help your skin regenerate and regain elasticity. I really hope you do heat-reducing skincare. There are many aloe gels available in stores, regardless of price. Applying a lot of aloe gel and then placing a gel mask over it can help maintain moisture for a long time, even serving as a sleeping mask. If you leave it on for about one or two hours, it dries, but with aloe gel and my favorite cream, if I apply a gel mask, I can use it as a sleeping mask for five to seven hours. When I take it off in the morning, my face feels firm and bright."
