'I'm Sunny, Thank You' warmed the living room with nostalgic memories of the Sunnyz reunion.
On the 5th, MBC's 'I'm Sunny, Thank You' aired its first broadcast. The main characters of the film 'Sunny' came together for the first time in 14 years, sharing a special time filled with laughter and tears.
The broadcast began at the Sunnyz reunion, which was realized under the leadership of Kang So-ra. Park Jin-joo, Nam Bo-ra, Kim Bo-mi, and Kim Min-young appeared in turn, and those who met after a long time exchanged greetings and jokes, creating a cheerful atmosphere as if they had instantly returned to their teenage years. The Sunnyz, who were so close that they could even recognize each other's scents, laughed as they looked back on how they used to see each other struggling with love in their 20s, saying, "We all saw each other going through tough times due to romantic relationships," and "Back then, we only talked about boys." They then shared episodes from the filming days. On the first day of the trip, the Sunnyz headed to Zhengyang Paicai Village, where the ethnic minority 'Dong' actually resides. At the village entrance, a traditional welcoming ceremony for travelers was held, and the members spontaneously sang a line from 'A Tender Place' in response to the warm hospitality of the residents. The exotic scenery of wooden houses, misty skies, and the aroma of green tea impressed even MC Wu Qi and Zhang Hao, who expressed, "It feels like a movie."
