'When Summer Passes,' the feature film debut of emerging independent filmmaker Jang Byeong-gi, tells the story of Gi-jun (Lee Jae-jun), who moves to a small town under excessive parental attention, and the neighborhood troublemaker brothers Young-min (Choi Hyun-jin) and Young-jun (Choi Woo-rok), who encounter each other's worlds one summer day when a stolen pair of sneakers brings them together.
