In ‘The Seasons - Park Bogum's Cantabile,’ Park Bogum fully revealed his hidden dance skills.
On 4th, the music talk show ‘The Seasons - Park Bogum's Cantabile’ featured Ha Ha, Ju Woo Jae, Kim Jun Hyun, Kwak Bum, Moon Se Yoon, Han Hae, Yang Se Hyung, Yang Se Chan, Park Soo Hong, and Park Kyung Rim, who are sincerely passionate about music, coming together in duos to showcase diverse conversations and performances.
Ha Ha and Ju Woo Jae of ‘Twenty Centimeter’ sparked audience sing-alongs from the first stage with ‘The Story of a Short Kid.’ They then met MC Park Bogum and hugged, expressing their delight while playfully bickering about their height difference, creating a humorous chemistry. Ha Ha was surprised when footage of his debut in 1997, obtained from KBS’s music archive, was unexpectedly revealed on-site, leading him to kneel and humorously plead, “I would give everything if you asked for money,” eliciting laughter.
Ju Woo Jae, who mentioned that he was involved in band activities during college, caught attention with his unique style in keyboard performance. Ju Woo Jae shared a ‘dark history’ of having released music with Go Young Bae of the band Sorahn, which did not gain traction, and aimed for a ‘reverse hit’ by performing live to Park Bogum's accompaniment. Park Bogum also supported Ju Woo Jae by singing the song himself, adding to the emotionality. Furthermore, Ha Ha made his first appearance of the new song ‘Sunny Day’ on ‘Park Bogum's Cantabile,’ and Ju Woo Jae revealed he had conceived the choreography, drawing attention. Ju Woo Jae then taught the choreography to Park Bogum, who, though surprised by the tricky wave moves, perfectly executed them, receiving applause.
Kim Jun Hyun and Kwak Bum's duo ‘Gae Romance’ delivered refreshing sensations with their performance of ‘Highway Romance.’ Kwak Bum expressed admiration for Park Bogum’s real-life appearance, while playfully showing jealousy by saying, “Park Bogum is overshadowing comedians. People laugh no matter what he does.” In response to Kwak Bum’s sun-kissed skin, Park Bogum jokingly commented, “You shine too much; it seems you got tanned,” and “There’s a rumor that the tanning shop owner left you behind,” catching Kwak Bum off guard. Kim Jun Hyun and Kwak Bum, who have long been sincere about music, evoked both nostalgia and laughter with their performance of ‘Blue Night in Jeju.’ Then Kwak Bum suggested to Park Bogum to recreate a scene from a musical, saying, “If you just lie down, I will scream automatically,” which made everyone burst into laughter. Park Bogum commented on Kwak Bum's emotional crying acting, saying, “You expressed sad tremors so well that listening through the in-ear made my heart feel tight.” Following Kwak Bum’s musical performance, Kim Jun Hyun left a lasting impression with a performance of ‘Nocturne’ featuring the harmonica.
The duo ‘Han Mun Cheol,’ composed of Han Hae and Moon Se Yoon, stripped away laughter for an R&B ballad performance of ‘Sea of Love,’ reviving those emotions. The two formed ‘Han Mun Cheol’ after their performance of ‘Already A Year’ became a hot topic on tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday,’ and they delivered an emotional rendition of ‘Already A Year’ again on ‘Park Bogum's Cantabile.’ Following this, Han Hae sang ‘Champagne,’ and Moon Se Yoon performed ‘My Beloved Laughter,’ showcasing their sincerity towards music and gifting a vacation-like feeling with their summer-themed song ‘Airplane.’
Yang Se Hyung and Yang Se Chan of ‘Yang Se Bro’ showcased excellent chemistry with a comedic entrance and added skits in their performance of ‘Trot.’ Park Bogum, who has a connection with Yang Se Hyung through the past MBC ‘Infinite Challenge,’ acknowledged Yang Se Hyung’s charming appeal, to which Yang Se Hyung playfully responded, “Pinch my cheek,” in a cheeky manner. Additionally, Yang Se Hyung and Yang Se Chan showcased popular catchphrases from their past performances in public comedy, which drew enthusiastic responses from the audience. In particular, Park Bogum impressed everyone by quickly adapting Yang Se Chan’s catchphrases.
At this time, the beloved duo from the 2000s, Park Soo Hong and Park Kyung Rim, made an appearance. Park Kyung Rim mentioned the ‘Park Gotte Project,’ which sold 250,000 copies in 2002, and sang the song ‘Not Everything Beautiful is Beautiful,’ which contained feelings of facing opposition during the album's release.
