J-Hope of the group BTS revealed all his activity plans, from the release of a new song to full-group activities.
On the morning of the 5th, a new video titled 'The Summer Festival is an Excuse' was released on the YouTube channel 'Tteun Tteun.' The video showed J-Hope of BTS talking with Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho.
On that day, J-Hope revealed that he had met Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho after a long time and shared his recent updates. J-Hope mentioned, "I will perform as a headliner at the 'Lollapalooza' festival in Berlin this month," and when asked about being a luxury brand ambassador, he said, "I am an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and the watch brand Audemars Piguet."
When the luxury watch brand was mentioned, both Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho were astonished and could not continue speaking. J-Hope shared, "I believe that when I act as an ambassador, it needs to be genuine. I actually really like the brand. Audemars Piguet is the brand I bought myself when I first achieved success. It has a significant meaning for me, like a gift, and it seems like they appreciate that."
J-Hope mentioned that he buys a watch each time he achieves a goal. In response, Yoo Jae-suk expressed, "Such a history should exist. Not everyone gets chosen just because they are famous."
Moreover, J-Hope asked Cho Sae-ho about his recent updates since they met after a long time. J-Hope asked Cho Sae-ho, "I've seen you taking a lot of photos in front of your door lately. Are you taking your OOTD pictures in front of it? Is your sister-in-law taking them for you?" Cho Sae-ho replied, "Yes." Yoo Jae-suk added, "You mix in those things. You’re pretty devoted."
When J-Hope asked about Cho Sae-ho's marriage life, Cho Sae-ho bashfully responded, "It’s great," and J-Hope admitted, "I couldn’t ask this kind of thing since I haven’t seen you for a long time. Your wedding probably overlapped with my discharge date. It was in October last year." J-Hope confessed that he missed Cho Sae-ho's wedding. J-Hope was discharged on October 17th, and Cho Sae-ho married on the 21st of the same month.
Following a delayed round of applause for his discharge, J-Hope expressed regarding his feelings, "I feel so relieved. There was some meaning in it, and during the one and a half years, I set aside my main work to fulfill my duties in a military society, which was a learning experience for me as Jung Ho-seok." Yoo Jae-suk congratulated him, saying, "I’m sure the fans will be so happy to see you back in good health," and J-Hope mentioned, "(As of the filming date) Soon, all the members will return, and I’m a bit looking forward to it. BTS is all coming back, and that's exciting."
Additionally, J-Hope mentioned his new song released after his discharge, saying, "I’m not sure how to express it, but I think the most sexy feeling for men comes when they are in their 30s. It feels like maturity starts to show from the 30s," adding, "After a shower, looking in the mirror, I get the feeling of ‘I think I could do this?’ It seems like the right time to be confident is around this age for me."
In response, Cho Sae-ho asked, "When does it usually happen for each of you?" Yoo Jae-suk answered, "I’ve never been very intoxicated. I’ve never been deeply absorbed, but there are times after a shower." Listening to this, Cho Sae-ho revealed, "I feel like Brother is absorbed in himself when we go to the gym together. Brother sometimes lifts his clothes in front of the mirror when no one is watching him."
J-Hope mentioned, "The most absorbed I felt recently was wearing a costume for the new song where I wear only a jacket without anything underneath. Looking in the mirror in that outfit wasn’t bad. (My abs) were defined, and I thought, 'Oh, this looks good,'" he said, adding in a joking tone, "But I have to be careful during such times; I wonder if this could become a black history of mine."
Next, Cho Sae-ho asked J-Hope, "This is a fun gathering, but since we are talking, when was a really difficult time for you?" J-Hope responded, "I mentioned this once on a broadcast. In 2018, receiving so much love as BTS made me wonder, 'Is it okay to receive this much attention?' I was afraid of people's gazes."
J-Hope continued, "It’s very happy and grateful when we act and receive reactions, but it has started to become somewhat scary. The members also had some stagnant situations."
He reminisced, saying, "But by overcoming that well and sharing the message of 'LOVE MYSELF,' we encouraged each other to tell ourselves that we love ourselves, which I think created a positive atmosphere for us and the fans. So, it seems to have been a great source of strength."
Finally, Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Do you have any concerns these days?" J-Hope replied, "All the members have now completed their military service, and we need to prepare for team activities, but it’s been so long since we last did this." J-Hope added, "It’s almost been 3 to 4 years since we came together, so I’m always thinking about the best way to communicate with the members and align our plans."
Yoo Jae-suk then remarked, "I genuinely believe in you. Wonderful stage. If BTS holds a concert, I must see it," to which J-Hope promised, "I will invite you." Furthermore, Cho Sae-ho added, "I’m also looking forward to Lollapalooza. I’m curious how I will present myself as a headliner."
Meanwhile, J-Hope released the song 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' on the 13th of last month, expressing the overwhelming excitement of falling for someone at first sight. Additionally, the BTS group announced their comeback for spring 2026.
They revealed specific plans through a live broadcast conducted on the global superfan platform Weverse on the 1st, indicating that in July, all members will sequentially move to the U.S. to begin serious music production and concert preparations. BTS will hold a large-scale world tour alongside the release of their new album in 2026.
