The actors of 'I'm Sunny Thank You' will directly share behind-the-scenes stories of the movie 'Sunny.'
The new MBC entertainment program 'I'm Sunny Thank You,' which will first air at 8:40 p.m. today (5th), tells a friendship story about the main characters of the movie 'Sunny' rediscovering the value of each other through travel. The first episode will feature a reunion of the sunny group where Kang So-ra, Park Jin-joo, Nam Bo-ra, Shim Eun-kyung, Kim Bo-mi, and Kim Min-young gather, and previously unheard behind-the-scenes stories from the 14-year-old filming will be revealed.
On this day, Kang So-ra noted, "At the time of filming, Shim Eun-kyung was the only minor, while the other members were all in their early 20s," surprising everyone. She adds that because she perfectly embodied the friendship of teenagers in the movie, she is still mistaken for a child actor, bringing laughter to the group. She also shares that the atmosphere on set was so relaxed and joyful that the director would say, "Let’s have fun" instead of giving a cue sign.
The hidden stories of the actors related to their roles will also be revealed. Nam Bo-ra reveals, "At that time, I envied So-ra's character and boldly appealed to the director," sharing her bold challenge. Park Jin-joo also states, "I really wanted to play the role of Woo-hee, so I even auditioned with lines from that character," revealing behind-the-scenes stories that even the other members were unaware of.
In response, Kang So-ra shares, "Rather, I wanted to take on more roles that express Jin-joo's emotions," conveying her passionate acting enthusiasm. Behind-the-scenes stories from the casting of the movie 'Sunny,' which was a hot topic for its perfect casting, are expected to provide fresh entertainment to the viewers.
The sunny group still vividly remembers the memories from 14 years ago. There is keen interest in how their friendship narrative, which is more cinematic than their movie, will unfold.
