Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is reportedly seeking to rebuild his relationship with his children after his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
Page Six reported on the 4th (local time) that Brad Pitt has gained a new perspective on life following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
A close associate of Pitt told Us Weekly, "The divorce has dominated his life for a long time. He loved Jolie and knows he made mistakes."
Pitt and Jolie began dating in 2004 and married in 2014, ten years later, but their marriage lasted only two years. During their 12-year relationship, the couple expanded their family, having six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
However, after the divorce, Pitt's relationship with his children has distanced, and he has been involved in a custody battle with Jolie for years. In particular, the 2016 plane incident and battles with alcohol addiction have driven the children away from him.
A source said, "Pitt does not lay all the blame on Jolie."
Pitt desperately hopes to restore his relationship with his children, stating, "The biggest regret is that I can't fix this. The litigation is over, but there are no winners. While there's a sense of relief that it's over, the fact that my relationship with the kids isn't good is painful for him."
Since his divorce from Jolie, Pitt has been working on sobriety, which has brought a significant change to his perspective on life. A source reported, "Everything changed after he quit drinking."
