The girl group Cosmosy is starting its quest to dominate the global stage with its departure for the United States.
According to Sony Music Korea, Cosmosy departed for Los Angeles (LA), USA, for the global campaign of their upcoming single 'Baby Don't Cry=Breaking The Love' (hereinafter referred to as 'Bedonk'), which is set to be released on the 4th.
Cosmosy will attend the 'LA Anime Expo 2025' as a special guest on the 5th (local time) in LA, where they will meet global fans, introduce their worldview, and share hints about future projects.
On the 11th, they will host a private listening party and art concept launch event on Melrose Avenue in LA. This listening party, where the new song 'Bedonk' will be unveiled for the first time, will take place in an installation space visualizing the concept of 'emotional control medication' and will be designed as an experiential event inducing sensory interaction.
Cosmosy's new song 'Bedonk' is based on the concept of a fictional emotional control medication called 'the miraculous eye drops that stop sadness' appearing in their worldview, and it unfolds an emotional narrative that transcends reality and fantasy. With visuals that evoke a magical and dreamlike aura, they are expected to deliver a unique message specific to Cosmosy.
Additionally, Cosmosy will also conduct the filming of the music video for the follow-up single from their debut mini album 'The A(e)nd' while in LA, further accelerating their global activities. The official album centered around the lead single 'Bedonk' is expected to be released this summer.
A representative from Sony Music Korea noted, "This project is a new narrative experiment that goes beyond a simple comeback, crossing emotions, imagination, and reality," and added that they plan to showcase an extended world unique to Cosmosy through deep interactions with fans.
Meanwhile, starting their schedule in LA, Cosmosy will also appear at the 'UTO FEST IN BANGKOK 2025' in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 19th.
