BABYMONSTER will appear back-to-back on their first music broadcast and entertainment show this weekend, signaling the start of their comeback activities.
According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will showcase the stage for the pre-release track 'HOT SAUCE' from their new mini album on SBS's 'Inkigayo,' which will air on the afternoon of the 6th. As BABYMONSTER has consistently garnered attention for their overwhelming skill on every stage, this first music show after their comeback is also drawing significant interest.
The previously released music video and choreography practice video have elicited a strong response from global music fans. This time, YG noted that fans can expect the members' vibrant performances perfectly integrated with the fresh charm of a retro hip-hop concept that will blow away the summer heat.
In addition to the music broadcast, fans can expect to see various facets of BABYMONSTER. Member Lola will serve as the special MC on this episode of 'Inkigayo,' guiding global music fans through K-pop, while Asa and Ahyeon will also appear as guests on SBS's 'Running Man,' which airs at 6:10 p.m.
YG stated, "Starting with this 'Inkigayo,' various activities, including numerous music broadcasts, radio shows, and YouTube content, are being prepared," and added, "Please look forward to BABYMONSTER's activities with the new song 'HOT SAUCE' that will refresh the summer heat."
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER made their comeback with the dance track 'HOT SAUCE,' which reinterprets the old-school hip-hop sound of the 1980s. The witty lyrics that compare boldness and confidence to spicy food, along with a strongly addictive chorus, have received a positive response. They plan to fill the second half of the year with the release of a second pre-release song in September and a mini-album in October.
