Michael Madsen, known for his roles as a Hollywood villain, has died of a heart attack.

On the 3rd (local time), international media outlets including Variety reported that Michael Madsen, who gave impressive performances in Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' series and 'Reservoir Dogs', passed away at the age of 67.

According to reports, Madsen was found unconscious at his home in Marlee on Thursday morning, and the cause of death is presumed to be a heart attack.

Madsen's manager and publicist issued a joint statement saying, "Over the past two years, Michael Madsen showed remarkable accomplishments in independent films and was really looking forward to the next chapter of his life. He was also preparing to publish a new book that is currently being edited," adding, "Michael Madsen was one of the most iconic actors in Hollywood and will be remembered fondly by many."

Michael Madsen made a strong impression by playing Mr. Blonde in the 1992 crime film 'Reservoir Dogs'. He has been actively working in numerous low-budget films while collaborating with Quentin Tarantino.

There were also ups and downs in his life. In 2022, his son Hudson Madsen was found dead in an apparent suicide on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, which shocked many. Additionally, he was arrested on charges of domestic violence following a dispute with his estranged wife, Diana, in 2024.
