Actor Orlando Bloom and pop star KT have officially acknowledged their breakup.
On the 3rd (local time), foreign media Page Six reported that Orlando Bloom and KT officially announced their breakup through a joint statement.
Both sides' Spokesperson said, "The two have been focusing on co-parenting while changing their relationship over the past few months," adding, "They will be seen together as a family in the future, and their top priority is to raise their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect."
Prior to the announcement, Orlando Bloom had expressed his honest feelings about loneliness and sadness on his social media on the 2nd. He uploaded an image containing a quote from Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung, stating, "Loneliness does not come from having no people around you but from being unable to express what is important to you."
He also added, "Even a happy life is accompanied by a degree of darkness, and without darkness, the term happiness would lose its meaning."
Sources close to the couple told US Weekly that they decided to part ways last month. The sources noted, "The current situation is relatively quiet and without conflict. KT is understandably upset but feels relieved that she does not have to go through another divorce. For her, divorce was the hardest time in her life."
According to sources, the relationship between Orlando Bloom and KT had been anticipated for a long time. It was reported that there had been an ongoing sense of tension between them for several months.
KT is currently on her 'Lifetimes' tour and is dedicating herself to work in an effort to overcome the pain of the breakup, while Orlando Bloom attended Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's lavish wedding alone after the split.
Orlando Bloom and KT met at the Golden Globe after-party in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019. The following year, in August 2020, they welcomed their first daughter, Daisy.
