The group SHINee member ONEW redefines the meaning of "imperfect."
ONew showcased the track list and art spoiler of his second full-length album, "PERCENT," through his official SNS today (4th).
According to the track list, the new album includes a total of 11 songs, including the title track "ANIMALS," "Silky," "Caffeine," "Marshmallow," "Confidence," "Forever OK," "Far Away," "MAD," "PERCENT (%)," "Epilogue," and "Happy Birthday."
In particular, ONEW participated in the overall production of the songs, including lyrics writing, continuing from his previous works to convey his own story. "PERCENT" is ONEW's record of being emptied, filled, and completed. It features 11 emotions flowing in harmony with the rhythm of life, blended into each track.
Meanwhile, the art spoiler that penetrates the core message of the title track "ANIMALS" has also been revealed. The video animates the evolution of human society from prehistoric times to the present, in line with the flow of the times. It allows viewers to feel the life energy that lives and breathes within the changes humans have gone through amid the advancement of civilization. Finding the hidden spelling of "ANIMALS" in the objects of each era is also quite enjoyable.
The second full-length album "PERCENT" is ONEW's new release about five months after his mini album "CONNECTION," which was released in January of this year. ONEW forms a complementary relationship with the countless things he encounters while living in this world. He paradoxically believes that no one can fill 100% alone and that even imperfect beings can be beautiful in their own right.
