To support the boxing championship challenge of 'Iron Girls 2,' top boxing instructor Ma Dong-seok has appeared.
The tvN show 'Iron Girls 2,' directed by Bang Geul-yi, will premiere on July 11 (Friday) at 8:40 p.m., showcasing the blood, sweat, and tears of Yui, Geum Saerok, Park Juhyun, and Seol In-a in their fight for the boxing championship. As boxing is an extremely harsh sport that requires relentless movement for three minutes on a square ring while pouring out all energy, curiosity is increasing about the second challenge of tvN and the Iron Girls following last season's triathlon.
In the video released on the 3rd, a meeting between Ma Dong-seok, Geum Saerok, and Seol In-a is captured. Ma Dong-seok, a boxer who has been training in boxing for a long time and currently operates a boxing gym as its director, met with the Iron Girls members for boxing instruction. Notably, as they met as boxer to boxer, the training sessions where Ma Dong-seok strongly trains the members to draw out their potential, while Geum Saerok and Seol In-a seriously follow along, stand out.
Ma Dong-seok tells Geum Saerok, "Hit (the punch) with the feeling of letting go of strength and just flicking it," providing one-on-one feedback tailored to her level, focusing on punch stance, breathing speed, and footwork, which captures attention. As she corrects her punches according to the feedback, as soon as the round-ending notification sounds, Geum Saerok honestly shares her review, saying, "It hurts," adding a touch of humor.
Seol In-a, who received Ma Dong-seok's one-point lesson, also draws attention as her punch power has noticeably changed.
