Former national rhythmic gymnastics athlete Son Yeon-jae has revealed her luxurious home.
Son Yeon-jae posted a video titled "The first reveal of the newlywed home of gymnastics fairy Son Yeon-jae in Hannam-dong" on her YouTube channel on 4th.
In the video, Son Yeon-jae said, "Many people have expressed curiosity about the house, so I finally reveal it," adding, "It was really pretty when we first got married, but now the living room has been completely taken over by Jun-yeon."
Son Yeon-jae said, "When I first came to see this house, there was a pillar and space that could be used as a living room, so I was thinking about how to arrange it. Now it has become Jun-yeon's living room. This is the space my husband seeks. It has an urban man concept."
In the video, Son Yeon-jae explained about the pillar interior in the living room, saying, "Jun-yeon runs around and it makes me uneasy because it's a solid rock. I surrounded it with a soundproof mat."
Additionally, Son Yeon-jae said, "I tried not to buy baby products as much as possible, but gifts for the baby came in, and they were cute. As I kept buying one after another, it has increased."
In particular, Son Yeon-jae explained, "An article mentions this as our house, but it is not our house. This is a temporary house, and we plan to renovate and move in about 2 to 3 years. Since this is a temporary house, we can't really change it as we want, so naturally, there are parts where we have to give up on arrangement and interior design."
Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae has been active as the CEO of Leaf Studio since officially retiring in 2017, focusing on discovering and nurturing rhythmic gymnastics talent. She married a man 9 years her senior in the finance industry on August 9, 2022, and welcomed a son on February 16 last year.
