Lucid Fall will present a fresh performance like never before.
Lucid Fall will hold ‘Lucid Fall, Jung Marie, Boo Ji Hyun on Sync Next 25’ at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts S Theater in Seoul from July 4th to 6th.
‘Sync Next 25’ is a performance that promotes ‘a stage without boundaries, attempts without limits.’ It features the erasure of the stage’s presence, blurring the distinction between the stage and the audience.
In particular, Lucid Fall will take the stage with traditional vocalist Jeong Mari and installation artist Bu Ji Hyun. The collaboration of these diverse genres and fields is innovative in itself. The performance, which is expected to last about three hours, will include ambient music, traditional Korean music, and a performance linked with installation art that utilizes the entire space.
Audience members will also be able to sit or lie on 100 cushions laid on the floor instead of designated seats to enjoy the performance. The audience’s free movement within the space will also be part of the performance and act as an object. This attempt is completely different from traditional performance formats and aims to provide a special and unfamiliar experience.
Through ‘Sync Next 25’, Lucid Fall creates a completely new performance that allows the feeling of unique and serene sound and light, breaking down the boundaries between the stage and the audience as well as between performance and exhibition. It is expected that audiences will experience the unexpected beauty born when the free stages presented by each artist overlap.
Meanwhile, the performance organized by Lucid Fall, Jeong Mari, and Bu Ji Hyun will serve as the opening act for ‘Sync Next 25,’ taking place at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts S Theater from July 4th to 6th.
