The group ONEUS has entered full-scale comeback activities, showcasing their prowess as 'representative performers of the fourth generation.'
ONEUS will unveil the stage for the title track 'X' from their mini album 11, '5x,' for the first time on music broadcasts during Mnet's 'M Countdown' at 6 p.m. today (3rd).
The new song 'X' is characterized by a funky BASS riff as its primary element. It uses melodic instruments exclusively, turning music's fixed notions upside down.
In particular, ONEUS hints at fantastic synchronization among the members through intricate large-scale transitions over an addictive rhythm. Throughout the stage, killing parts appear in succession, and ONEUS is expected to enhance the viewing experience with their energetic choreography. Renan, who participated in the choreography for aespa's 'Whiplash' and 'Armageddon,' has come in to bolster the quality.
The mini album 11, '5x,' combines the number '5,' representing the five members, with the variable 'x,' reflecting ONEUS's infinite musical possibilities. Like the variable 'x,' which does not have a fixed answer, ONEUS breaks down their boundaries and expands their musical world, signaling the beginning of a new narrative.
Fans who listened to ONEUS's songs praised them, saying, "The beat, melody, and voice have nothing missing," "I found myself humming right after listening to the title track," "All 5 songs are great without exception," "ONEUS proves itself with music," and "ONEUS must be listened to throughout the album."
