The news of Jaehyun from the boy group Fable passing away after battling leukemia has recently come to light, evoking sadness. His promise to fans to always be together after celebrating his 1000th day since debut was ultimately not kept.
Born in 2002, Jaehyun debuted as the youngest member of the five-member boy group Fable in 2020. Starting with the team's debut song 'Burn it up,' he released several tracks such as 'Run Run Run' and 'Cloud 9,' garnering love from fans with his bright and refreshing energy.
In particular, Fable built a global fanbase through active overseas activities such as concerts and fan meetings in Osaka, Japan, but officially announced a hiatus from team activities last year, leaving fans disappointed.
Despite the hiatus in team activities, members' photos still remain on the official social media. Fans, shocked by the sudden news of Jaehyun, have poured out messages of mourning, expressing sentiments such as "It's so sad" and "I will remember your bright appearance."
In particular, a video celebrating their 1000th day since debut uploaded on March 1, 2023, has saddened many. In the video, Jaehyun said, "I am Jaehyun, the youngest of Fable. We have reached our 1000th day since debut. Thanks to your support, we have made it to 1000 days. This is not the end. I hope you will be with us until 10,000 days or as long as possible. There is still a lot ahead of us, so let's make good memories together."
However, this promise was not kept. Jaehyun suddenly deteriorated after battling leukemia and passed away on the 30th of last month, at the age of 23. Although his health temporarily improved during treatment, his condition rapidly worsened, leading to his untimely death.
