According to the latest chart released on July 1 by the American music publication Billboard, J-Hope's digital single 'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' ranked 90th on the main song chart 'Hot 100.' Thus, J-Hope has appeared on this chart for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, the song also secured high positions in sub-charts, ranking 5th in 'Global (excluding the U.S.),' 6th in 'Global 200,' and 7th in 'Digital Song Sales.'
Notably, on this week’s chart, the song 'HOME' from BTS's mini album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA,' released in 2019, re-entered the rankings at 1st in 'World Digital Song Sales' and 19th in 'Digital Song Sales.' 'HOME' expresses gratitude and affection toward fans by comparing them to a 'home' they want to return to in difficult times. This re-entry is interpreted as a reflection of the unwavering hearts of fans waiting for the complete group of BTS.
In addition, the song 'D-Day,' from the solo album 'D-DAY' released in 2023 by Suga, also known as Agust D, ranked 4th in 'World Digital Song Sales.'
'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' consistently showed the presence of solo works by BTS members. Jin's second mini album 'Echo' ranked 40th with the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me,' Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' ranked 93rd with the title track 'Who,' and Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. BTS officially announced their comeback slated for spring 2026. They provided specific plans during a live broadcast conducted on July 1 via the global superfan platform Weverse, stating that all members will sequentially travel to the U.S. in July to begin earnest music production and concert preparations. BTS plans to announce their return as '21st century pop icons' along with the release of a new album in 2026 and conduct a large-scale world tour.
