Scarlett Johansson shared her feelings about visiting Korea.
On the 1st at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, a press conference for the film 'Jurassic World: New Beginnings' (directed by Gareth Edwards, written by David Koepp, distributed by Universal Pictures) was held.
'Jurassic World: New Beginnings', which is expected to be a must-see movie this summer, involves 'Zora' (Scarlett Johansson) and 'Dr. Henry' (Jonathan Bailey) discovering shocking truths that have been hidden while surviving the threats of dinosaurs, and it will be released in nationwide theaters on July 2.
In particular, this marked the first time the director and lead actors visited Korea, and the event was attended by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and director Gareth Edwards.
Scarlett Johansson expressed her feelings about visiting Korea for the second time in 8 years, saying, "I’m so excited to be in Korea. I’m happy to be here again. I wish I had more time. I bought a lot of skincare products in Myeongdong this morning. That’s something I have to do, so I went from the morning. For breakfast, I think I had seven types of kimchi," she laughed.
She continued, "Today, I will also meet fans, and I’m looking forward to it. Korean fans always give me such a warm welcome, so I’m really looking forward to it."
He also noted about the acting behind the scenes, saying, "The most difficult part, of course, was not being able to actually see the dinosaurs and acting by looking at a tennis ball attached to a stick. So we had to maintain our physical strength and carry emotions like fear. The action is so tense and continues on. So as soon as the cue sign drops, we have to show a terrified look, and if there’s a camera issue and we have to wait a few minutes, we have to relax and then tense up again. Managing the tension up and down was the most difficult part."
At the same time, she said, "But our fellow actors are amazing, and we relied on each other to maintain concentration. I think it’s really important to rely on and trust fellow actors. I was able to maintain faith that everyone would perform wonderfully, and we all felt that. We tried to keep our energy level similarly high. I think we were lucky that it turned out well," she shared about the chemistry.
