Lim Ji-yeon and Dex showcased their bickering chemistry in 'Fresh off the Sea 2.'
In the 12th episode of the tvN variety show 'Fresh off the Sea 2' aired on the 29th, Yum Jung-ah appeared flustered when Lim Ji-yeon and Dex competed against each other.
The sisters returned home after just finishing the harvest. As a seasoned member, Dex started to help next to Yum Jung-ah, who was preparing dinner.
Meanwhile, Dex, who witnessed Lim Ji-yeon entering the room after washing up, said, "Back in my day, we couldn't even enter the room; the world has gotten so much better. Eun-jin and I were on standby for 5 minutes and only looked at Jung-ah." This revealed his past, eliciting laughter.
In particular, Dex asked Yum Jung-ah, "Which member do you like more among seasons 1 and 2?" Yum Jung-ah responded, "Are you asking me that now? I’ll send it via text. On the other hand, Lim Ji-yeon and Dex proudly claimed to be good at cooking jajangmyeon, each arguing that water and fire are essential. When Yum Jung-ah appeared, Lim Ji-yeon asked, "Sister, Dex and I are going to cook jajangmyeon; who do you think will cook it better?" However, Yum Jung-ah chose Dex without hesitation.
The sisters enjoyed a pot lid pork belly party for dinner. During the following drinking session, Dex attempted to prepare jajangmyeon as a late-night snack as promised. However, Lim Ji-yeon, driven by competitive spirit, rushed to the kitchen to interfere, and Dex said, "I’m sorry, but please go and sit down."
After a series of twists and turns, jajangmyeon was finally completed. Lee Jae-wook expressed his satisfaction, saying, "Hyung, this is so delicious." In contrast, Lim Ji-yeon initially looked skeptical but later responded, "Not bad." To this, Dex jokingly replied, "Don't evaluate it; just enjoy it." Yum Jung-ah laughed at the bickering duo, saying, "You two are not even at an age to be this cute."
As the jajang battle was coming to an end, Lim Ji-yeon asked, "Have you ever cooked pancakes?" Dex replied that he had, and Yum Jung-ah added, "Dex cooks well."
In response, a jealous Lim Ji-yeon expressed her discontent, saying, "Sister, why do you only praise Jinyoung?" Yum Jung-ah clarified, "Did I? It's not like that," to which Dex responded, "Jung-ah noona can't help but tell the truth." Lim Ji-yeon retorted, "You be quiet. Don't intervene." Ultimately, Yum Jung-ah sighed, saying, "It’s hard with so many kids," prompting laughter.
