Lee Chan-hyuk will return on July 14 at 6 p.m. with his second solo studio album. The album title is 'EROS'.
YG Entertainment announced this on the 30th through an official SNS post titled 'EROS ANNOUNCEMENT'. The video offers a sense of tension with a green noisy TV screen employing a glitch effect and a poignant sound flowing over it.
Above all, the album name [EROS] etched on the screen evokes strong curiosity and imagination, as it is a word that broadly defines love, and it has a strange consolidation with the spoken sound of the first studio album [ERROR].
As Lee Chan-hyuk has previously provided deep resonance with unexpected musical approaches and thought-provoking messages, there is much interest in what expanded musical world he will unfold this time, and what narratives will be contained within it.
YG noted, "You will experience Lee Chan-hyuk's unparalleled producing, as well as music that contains delicate storytelling and attempts to break the mold," and added, "As he returns after three years, you can anticipate his even stronger album."
Lee Chan-hyuk has established himself as a 'trusted artist' by producing numerous hit songs through AKMU and solo albums. The stages born from his unique ideas have consistently garnered attention and left a mark, attracting praise from the public and critics alike.
Meanwhile, AKMU, to which Lee Chan-hyuk belongs, will hold the '2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT [The Kids]' at Myung-Hwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, for a total of 9 performances over three weeks from August 8 to 24. As it will be a standing concert with a different setlist each week, it is expected to allow for interaction with the audience as well as a diverse musical experience.
