Kim Tae-sul, who drew attention as the youngest basketball coach, shared the story of his dismissal.
On the 30th, in the SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny,' actor Park Ha-na's husband Kim Tae-sul talked about his feelings after being dismissed as a coach after five months.
Park Ha-na spoke about their newlywed house ahead of the wedding. Park Ha-na said, "I hope we can change things like dishes and utensils instead of the ones I used to use." However, Kim Tae-sul noted, "I think it would be fine to use what Hana has been using," emphasizing the importance of efficiency.
Seo Jang-hoon, who witnessed this situation, said, "Hana should understand. Tae-sul did not grow up in a wealthy environment, and recently, since Tae-sul stepped down from his coaching position, he might be concerned about financial issues."
Kim Tae-sul began studying English after meals. He said, "I realized that English is important while being a coach. If I had been proficient in English, I think I could have communicated more easily with foreign players."
Kim Tae-sul attracted attention when he took on the youngest coaching position. However, he was unable to escape the swamp of poor performance. Kim Tae-sul said, "It was hard to suddenly take on the coaching position. It was my first time doing this, and there were many decisions to make. The process of tackling them one by one was difficult."
Ultimately, Kim Tae-sul was dismissed after five months. Seo Jang-hoon expressed disappointment, saying, "He suddenly became a coach in the middle of the season. He could only coach half a season, and after the season ended, it changed. This happened before he could do anything."
Seo Jang-hoon said, "There was no way for anyone to have succeeded in that situation, not just him. It’s a bit regrettable." He continued to encourage, saying, "Since he is still young, there will be ongoing opportunities."
