Park Bo-young and Park Jin-Young promised to marry and began the second chapter of their lives in "Our Unwritten Seoul."
The final episode of the tvN weekend drama "Our Unwritten Seoul" (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-woo and Nam Geon, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Monster Union and Highground), aired on the 29th, showing Lee Ho-soo (played by Park Jin-Young) and Yoo Mi-ji (played by Park Bo-young) starting the second chapter of their lives.
On that day, Lee Ho-soo apologized, saying, "I have something to talk about. I want to apologize properly. I didn't want you to suffer, but I hurt and troubled you more. I didn't know that being alone, not wanting to be a burden to someone, was selfish. I'm sorry."
He continued, "Actually, nothing has changed. My ears are still the same, and I don't know what will happen in the future. What's certain is that it will be tough next to me. But still, I want to be together. I want to endure together even if it's hard," and he gifted her a couple ring. Touched, Yoo Mi-ji hugged him and said, "Thank you, Lee Ho-soo. Oh, it's really so beautiful."
Kim Ok-hee (played by Jang Young-nam) and Yeom Bun-hong (played by Kim Sun-young), who learned about Yoo Mi-ji and Lee Ho-soo's relationship, were surprised for a moment but sincerely congratulated the couple.
Meanwhile, Yoo Mi-rae (played by Park Bo-young) said goodbye to Han Se-jin, who had left for the United States, with a hug. Han Se-jin, who ran towards Yoo Mi-rae, said, "I'm worried that I might disappear again because I'm so impatient" and added, "Don't forget you promised to write to me. Send me a newsletter or spam email, whatever it is. It's a promise."
As he suggested, "So a hug is okay, right?" Yoo Mi-rae replied, hugging him, "Come visit me anytime when you come to Korea. To my house."
Also, the critically ill grandmother (played by Cha Mi-kyung) said her final goodbye to Yoo Mi-ji. Yoo Mi-ji shed tears as she said, "I won't cry much and will live hard. So don't worry about me. Goodbye, Grandma. I love you."
Meanwhile, Yoo Mi-ji declared to Yoo Mi-rae that she would go to college. She said, "I'm a bit embarrassed. Since I was young, I thought I could never do as well as you, no matter how hard I tried, so I stopped studying early. It felt less embarrassing not to do anything than to do something I'm not good at. But now I wonder if that's really less embarrassing."
Recalling the time she exchanged with Yoo Mi-rae, Yoo Mi-ji said, "I was really scared at first" and added, "But when I studied a bit, pretending to report to the boss, it wasn't that scary at all. I wondered if college would be like that. I want to try the scariest and most embarrassing thing first." Yoo Mi-rae encouraged her, saying, "That's right. It's scary, but when you actually do it, it's not a big deal. If you try, you might be disappointed in college. But it's better to try and get disappointed. I'm in favor of it."
A year later, after three attempts, Yoo Mi-ji entered the psychology department and began her college life. Lee Ho-soo returned to work as a lawyer and enjoyed a happy daily life with Yoo Mi-ji. Meanwhile, Yoo Mi-rae caught attention as she was set to reunite with Han Se-jin, who returned to Korea.
In particular, Yoo Mi-ji, who found her dream, confessed that she wanted to become a psychological counselor. In response to the congratulatory words from Lee Ho-soo, Yoo Mi-ji said, "But to do this, I need to graduate from graduate school" and added, "I'm sorry to you. Because I'm making you wait too long."
In reply, Lee Ho-soo encouraged her, saying, "Is it true that you can only get married after you receive your first paycheck? Does it matter how many years the wedding is postponed? You found your dream, right?" Upon hearing this, Yoo Mi-ji expressed her concern, saying, "How long do I have to wait?" Lee Ho-soo replied, "It's usually the one who loves more who waits better. I'm good at waiting."
Yoo Mi-ji said, "You can't run away like this" and Lee Ho-soo replied, "I'm not going anywhere," as they shared a kiss.
