Member Im Do-hwa (Chan-mi) of the group AOA tied the knot with actor Song Ui-hwan.
Im Do-hwa held a wedding ceremony with Song Ui-hwan on the afternoon of the 28th at a location in Seoul. The ceremony was conducted privately with only family, relatives, and close friends in attendance.
AOA members also attended the wedding to support Im Do-hwa's new beginning. Seolhyun posted a video on her social media showing Im Do-hwa entering in a wedding dress, while Hye-jeong shared a video of Im Do-hwa holding a bouquet and posted a message saying, "Oh, how beautiful! Congratulations on your marriage, Titi!"
Jimin, who left AOA, also attended the wedding and shared a video of Im Do-hwa's wedding, leaving a message saying, "Our youngest, Do-hwa," showcasing their enduring friendship.
Earlier, Im Do-hwa shared the news of her marriage through her social media account on the 8th of last month. She stated, “I met someone I want to walk through the days ahead with, and we will be getting married this June,” making a surprise announcement without any prior dating rumors.
Im Do-hwa mentioned that her fiancé is a truly kind and grateful person who supports her warmly and stays by her side, expressing her affection.
She added, “I think I will be able to slowly introduce him to everyone soon,” and noted, “If you bless our future with warm hearts and pray for us, it would be a great strength.”
Later, Im Do-hwa revealed wedding photos and confirmed that her fiancé is musical actor Song Ui-hwan. Song Ui-hwan, born in 1991, has appeared in the play 'Almost Maine' and the film 'Village Ability War.'
Meanwhile, Im Do-hwa debuted with AOA in 2012. She began her acting career in 2016 with the web drama 'Are They Money?!' and changed her name from Kim Chan-mi to Im Do-hwa in 2023, opting to use ‘Do-hwa’ as her stage name.
The process of Im Do-hwa's wedding and her newlywed life will be revealed on TV CHOSUN's 'Joseon's Love Fool.' The production team noted, “We plan to exclusively showcase the wedding preparation process and the scene of the wedding of AOA's Chan-mi.”
