An illegal transaction scandal has caught the attention of the public as popular instructor Jo Jeong-sik has once again revealed his stance.

On the 26th, Jo noted on his social account, "I learned that being responsible is what it means to live like a human being," adding, "I will not run away or hide from the series of events related to me; if I have a responsibility, I will take it to the end."

However, he stated, "I believe I have done nothing wrong morally or legally regarding this matter. I cannot say everything yet, but I have not done anything to be ashamed of to those who know me directly or indirectly."

Previously, it was revealed that Jo Jeong-sik was sent to the prosecution on suspicion of purchasing mock test questions for academies from a current high school teacher for 58 million won.

The transaction of educational materials among current teachers has been prohibited since 2016, and violators may face severe disciplinary actions such as dismissal. In this regard, the Korean National Police Agency sent 72 current teachers who engaged in problem transactions to the prosecution on the 17th of last month, and a total of 126 individuals have been investigated, with 100 sent to the prosecution.

According to the Board of Audit and Inspection, Jo Jeong-sik is said to have acknowledged his involvement in the transaction with current teachers, but Jo's side fully rebutted, stating, "The allegations are not true, and there is no fact that instructor Jo paid 58 million won to the teacher."

The legal team stated, "Instructor Jo Jeong-sik is convinced that he is clearly innocent of all allegations sent to the prosecution," hinting at potential legal action for defamation and the spread of false information.

However, following the controversy, Jo Jeong-sik has also withdrawn from the Channel A interview 'Teachers 2' and canceled his appearance on tvN's 10th-anniversary special 'Occasionally an Adult.'

As Jo Jeong-sik repeatedly expressed his grievances, attention is drawn to whether his claims will be proven true through the upcoming investigation results or if the suspicions will be clarified.
