Hip-hop legend Jinusean's Jinu joins 'The men who cook season 2.'
Jinu will make his first appearance as a new 'man who cooks' on KBS2's 'The men who cook season 2' (hereafter 'The cook men') airing on the 28th.
On this day, Jinu will reveal for the first time his exceptionally beautiful wife, an ultra-elite lawyer who is 13 years younger and bears a striking resemblance to Han Go-eun, along with their adorable 4-year-old son. In particular, Jinu's wife, Im Sara, a lawyer who made her first appearance in court, boasts impressive credentials among the cast of 'The cook men', attracting attention from the start. She showcases her overflowing passion as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and mother, presenting her role as a 'professional multi-jobber.'
Jinu, who shows a moment of extreme laziness as dubbed the 'sloth of the hip-hop world,' captivates attention by being sincere only in cooking and parenting. He captures flies with a net instead of a microphone to feed his son's favorite Venus flytrap and tenderly reads fairy tales to his son, showcasing his warm and delicate side as a father. In response, MC Eun Ji-won noted, "It feels strange to see Jinu brother taking care of parenting and reading fairy tales so gently. It’s kind and looks good."
The couple, who hint at their unique chemistry through their contrasting daily lives, adds intrigue by sharing hidden behind-the-scenes stories from the '2024 KBS Music Festival Global Festival,' where they attracted attention alongside Ive’s Jang Won-young for a generational unification collaboration stage last year. They revealed that they almost missed the chance to see JinuSean and Ive’s Jang Won-young perform, raising curiosity. Jinu then surprisingly confessed, "My life priorities have changed," capturing attention with his story of moving away from activities in the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Jinu debuted as part of the hip-hop duo Jinusean with Sean in 1997, gaining great popularity with hit songs such as 'Gasoline,' 'Tell Me (feat. Um Jung-hwa),' and 'Phone Number,' and has led Korea's hip-hop culture by recording over 700,000 album sales, which is rare for a hip-hop artist.
As Jinu's recent activities, which have been sparse, are revealed through KBS2's 'The cook men,' interest is growing, and his unexpected daily life will be showcased in the broadcast on the 28th at 9:20 p.m.
