DJ Soda expressed her distress after a bleaching incident at a hair salon.

On the 26th, a video titled "This is the exact incident that was posted on DJ Soda's SNS..." was uploaded on the 'kiu기우쌤' channel.

That day, Kiu said, "This time I filmed with DJ Soda, and when I first got the contact, it seemed like there was really no way to remedy the situation, so I took care of her and we tried to film content while discussing what to do about the extensions or root bleaching. However, as the post went up on Instagram and became an issue, the content I was filming lightly became something I had to approach more cautiously. Looking at the current situation, it seems even more damaged than when we filmed, and at this point I'm considering whether I should make this into a half wig.

After that, DJ Soda's appearance was revealed. Kiu looked at DJ Soda's hair and said, "It feels like this kind of case is really impossible to remedy," to which DJ Soda explained, "I've never had it this broken before. My hair is almost 3 to 6 mm broken." Kiu remarked, "About the size of my palm has just fallen off," and asked, "Did it happen while bleaching the roots?" DJ Soda replied, "It's full bleaching. I was originally brown. I got bored of brown and thought of changing it, so I bleached it, and it turned out like this. I did it in Korea. I had been blonde for about 10 years. But I've never had it break this much before. And I've always had very healthy hair. I have a lot of hair," she lamented.

Kiu said, "If it's broken this close, it feels like the damage didn't accumulate but rather just came from the first procedure," and DJ Soda agreed, saying, "That’s right. I bleached it three times. It's difficult to achieve this color after three times. I originally have very thick and black hair. Normally, it should turn orange after about three times, but it turned lemon-colored quickly, so I asked why it turned out color so fast, and they said they left it on purpose for a long time."

Kiu expressed, "But the fortunate thing is that your hair is so thick that it doesn't look noticeable from the front," yet added, "this is not just a problem for now, but there's a high possibility that it will get wider as it grows out," expressing concern. DJ Soda responded, "That's right. It keeps breaking," and said, "So I've been crying almost every day for about 2 weeks. I feel like I'm going to cry again," reddening her eyes.

Kiu noted, "When I messaged you, I mentioned care, didn't I? The only thing we can do today is care, and for now, it's difficult, but once it grows out a bit more, it might be okay to attach some pieces for external schedules. When you're in a rush, it's not just a clip-on but it can be glued. That should be sufficiently feasible. While it's not a fundamental solution, since you have a lot of schedules, it should work for now."

DJ Soda revealed, "Even if I tie my hair up, the sides are visible. The entire back is gone," and when asked if heat was applied, she responded, "Steam. But I usually kept it on for almost two hours each time I bleached it. They said normally it's only for 30 to 40 minutes." Kiu pointed out, "Up to 50 minutes. It's good for it to become lighter as it ages, but the scalp reacts quicker," showing her the machine. "I know that machine; it can regulate temperature, but it produces warm steam. Bleaching works enough without heat. It usually breaks at the back since that's where the heat comes from. I wondered if it was because of the heat because I thought the area where that machine generates heat is around there. It might be because of the heat. You don't need heat for bleaching," as Kiu identified the issue.

He expressed, "From the side, it looks a bit like a buzz cut," and said, "It's essential to take good care and focus on letting your hair grow out and doing the root bleaching well, that's the real highest difficulty." DJ Soda, who goes abroad every weekend, mentioned, "I just came back from a tour in the U.S. I didn’t realize it was broken like this. I didn’t notice when I left the salon after having it styled. But when I arrived in the U.S. and washed my hair, a chunk of it fell out," to which Kiu expressed surprise, saying, "I realized something was wrong at the salon, but I wonder why they didn't tell me and sent me off."

DJ Soda stated, "When I touched the back of my head, it felt bumpy. It was broken. I didn't know. But after washing my hair alone, my manager was really shocked. He said the back was shaved off," sharing her shock at the moment. "It was a shocking feeling the first time I touched it. I don't think there will ever be a time in my life where I have a buzz cut."

Kiu said, "This isn't even a buzz cut. It's a semi-shaved look," adding, "We can't cover it immediately today, but as your hair grows, you must do root bleaching, right? I think we should bleach lightly in the back to remove the black and do root bleaching to match the front to a lemon color when you flip your hair behind your ears. It would be good to make the back less white than here. It's a significant risk to match everything to lemon. It’s still okay, but there’s a higher risk of breaking more in the upper section. We need to cover that area as much as possible. I'll cut it to fit your head shape today. If I can show (your manager) how to apply this bond, would there be any critical schedules? Just a few points would make it much better."

Then DJ Soda expressed, "I never dreamed this would happen in my life," and added, "Suddenly tears came. It feels sad every time I touch it. I thought I had gotten used to it, but suddenly talking about it makes me feel like I'm about to cry again," showing that she was getting emotional.
