Actor Seong-tae brightens the center of the drama "Namju Search" with his unique warm charm and friendliness.

The show, released today (27th), is based on a popular webtoon of the same name, featuring college student Oh Seol-lam, who enters college to find her fiancé who disappeared during a gaming wedding, searching for a 'virtual male lead' and discovering 'real love' in a new concept mystery love triangle drama.

Seong-tae plays 'Mu-il,' a student in the Department of Film at Gangstrong University. As a character with a 'maximum friendliness' level, he approaches everyone without hesitation and is expected to showcase a warm personality that quickly catches others' feelings and subtly takes care of them, adding a natural ease and warmth between the emotional lines of the drama. He is active as a 'mood maker,' sometimes easing tension with humor and sometimes drawing empathy through delicate emotional lines. Beyond being a simple supporting character, Seong-tae's presence as a multifaceted individual with human depth is expected to shine.

Seong-tae, who began his acting career in the web drama "Alba Haebwassseum?", has since gained attention for his solid acting skills and unique presence in various works, including tvN's "Beach Village Chachacha," the web drama "Happy Merry Ending," and the Genie TV original "Say I Love You."

In particular, in KBS2's "Let’s Grab the Collar," he appeared as the young version of the male lead Seol Woo-jae, gaining recognition for his strong emotional performance and stable chemistry that elevated the drama's immersion. In this "Namju Search," Seong-tae is also expected to delicately portray the character's multifaceted emotions, stimulating viewers' empathy.

"Namju Search" is a collaboration between director Kang Hee-ju, who directed "Red Moon Blue Sea" and the "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong" series, and writer Park Ga-hee, who participated in the writing of works like "Shut Up Flower Boy Band," "The Secret Door," and "When the Stars Gossip." Additionally, high expectations for quality are set as Urban Works, known for producing significant works like "Thief: The Sound of the Sword" and "Black Dog," along with 815VIDEO, which produced music videos for famous artists like BLACKPINK and IU as well as the independent film "Fragments of Memory," jointly produce the series.

In particular, this work shines a light on the dating methods of the 'digital native' generation and attracts attention with a fresh setup where 'virtual love' meets a 'real man' in the real world to find true love. Interest is focused on how Seong-tae will contribute to the entertainment of the youth romantic comedy "Namju Search," aimed at the 'Gen Z' generation.

Meanwhile, "Namju Search" will be exclusively released on Wavve for three weeks starting today (27th), with two episodes each Friday.
