Kang Hyung-wook sends off his camping car and returns to the field… A full return is announced through 'A Time of Dogs and Wolves.'
Dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook is leaving behind a quiet time and starting to resume his activities. This will be through the new format of reality entertainment 'A Time of Dogs and Wolves', which looks into the relationship between the owner and their dog beyond the trainer's perspective.
Kang Hyung-wook recently shared a glimpse of his daily life by revealing through his YouTube channel his process of disposing of the camping car he purchased two years ago, marking a small but significant turning point.
In the video, he said, "It was the camping car of my dreams, but I ultimately only used it three times," adding, "Now is the time to let it go," expressing his regret. Despite it being a camping car he decorated himself for 35 million won, his candid comment that "Hotels are more comfortable" drew laughter.
However, as he organizes the camping car, interest is shifting towards his next steps. In August, Channel A will introduce a new pet solution entertainment show 'A Time of Dogs and Wolves,' featuring Kang Hyung-wook. This program goes beyond simple training to diagnose the owner’s attitudes, environment, and relationships behind the behavioral issues of their dogs, differentiating it from previous pet entertainment shows.
Kang Hyung-wook, who has established himself as Korea's representative dog behavior expert, will visit locations to carefully examine the conflicts between dogs and their owners and provide more practical solutions. Currently, 'A Time of Dogs and Wolves' is recruiting participants with their dogs from the general public through online communities and social media channels, and interest from dog owners is already high.
Meanwhile, Kang Hyung-wook refrained from official activities for a while due to internal controversies related to Bodeum Company last year. At that time, some former employees raised allegations of human rights violations in the workplace, such as 'unauthorized access to company messengers', but recently, the police decided not to prosecute regarding these charges, concluding the case. In response, Kang Hyung-wook said he was ready to apologize if there was anything to apologize for, cautiously conveying his position.
After facing the crisis head-on and taking a step back, Kang Hyung-wook is preparing to focus again on his role as an expert and to foster genuine communication between dogs and people. By sending off the camping car, he now stands at another starting line.
