The filming site of 'Blood Game 3' has been revealed again
The filming site of 'Blood Game 3,' which involved a production cost exceeding hundreds of millions of won, has been revealed again through MBC's 'Save Me! Homes.' It was revealed that the repair cost incurred from breaking a glass window for a scene at that time amounted to 5 million won, capturing the attention of viewers.
The episode of MBC's entertainment program 'Save Me! Homes' aired on the 26th, depicting an on-site tour in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Travel YouTuber Pani Bottle and comedian Jang Dong-min recalled their time filming 'Blood Game 3' while traveling in a vehicle to view a second house property.
The two mentioned their experience of wearing eye masks to conceal their destination during filming, recalling, "It was really agonizing." Shortly after removing their eye masks, they arrived at an unexpected location and couldn’t hide their surprise. It was the luxurious private pool villa complex, which was the actual filming site of 'Blood Game 3.' As they looked around the site, Pani Bottle remarked, "It's giving me goosebumps," while Jang Dong-min reflected, "I remember this stairway, including the convenience store," reminiscing about their memories. They also watched footage from the filming time to reflect.
In particular, when a scene where Pani Bottle broke a glass window with a hammer was shown again, Jang Dong-min expressed surprise, saying, "It was really scary. I thought we had locked him out for sure, but he broke the glass and came in." Pani Bottle revealed, "The repair cost for the glass window at that time was 5 million won. When you include the location rental costs, it was a place where a total of about 1.4 billion won was used," surprising everyone with the behind-the-scenes story. He also humorously took a broken glass shard as a "souvenir." Jang Dong-min, who believed they had completely sealed the area at the time, reflected, "It was the greatest trial of my life."
Meanwhile, it was also reported during the broadcast that part of this filming site, with a production cost of hundreds of millions of won, is now available as an actual property. Information was revealed that not only is there an option for a waterfall with the sound of water, but also that 17 pool villas are available for sale, trending in real-time searches.
As this nostalgic location became a topic again, reactions from internet users followed, such as, "5 million won for one glass for a scene, and 1.4 billion in total?" and "The weight of reality show production."
