Japanese adult video actress turned broadcaster Aoi Sora has spoken out regarding the sexual harassment controversy involving Jo Hae-kyun, a former member of The Boyz.

According to Japanese entertainment media outlets such as Nikkan Sports, Aoi Sora posted on her personal social media on the 25th, "Adult video actresses are not prostitutes." Notably, this post was shared in both Japanese and Korean, attracting the attention of local and domestic internet users.

Aoi Sora also noted, "The wrong action was the behavior that seemed to have leaked the photo in question, questioning, 'Why is it that adult video actresses are treated like this? What is the status of an adult video actress?'"

The post is seen as a response to the reactions of internet users in both countries regarding the sexual harassment controversy involving Jo Hae-kyun from The Boyz and Japanese adult video actress turned influencer Asuka Kirara, which has sparked recent debates in Korea and Japan.

Earlier, the Japanese entertainment media Shūkan Bunshun published a photo capturing Jo Hae-kyun and Asuka Kirara appearing to embrace and rest their chins on each other while at a gathering in Tokyo. This led to allegations of sexual transactions involving Jo Hae-kyun and Asuka Kirara. In response, The Boyz announced Jo Hae-kyun's departure.

However, Jo Hae-kyun apologized for the controversy, acknowledging that he attended the gathering but denied any illegal activities such as sexual transactions. He claims that his departure was also coerced by his agency, One Hundred. Asuka Kirara emphasized that she has never engaged in private transactions for sex.
