Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo fulfilled his dream 20 years ago. Adorning the column in the center of the broadcasting station with his face, Jun Hyun-moo has not forgotten the desperation he felt before becoming a broadcaster and is determined to keep moving forward.
On the 26th, Jun Hyun-moo posted several photos on his social media account with the caption, "20 years ago, I came here seeking advice from a senior from SBS who was in my club due to a strong desire to work in broadcasting."
In the released photos, Jun Hyun-moo is seen taking pictures in the SBS broadcasting station lobby with a large LED column in the background. The LED column features an image of Jun Hyun-moo, the host of "Wow, This is Really Happening," and he mimicked the same expression while taking a picture against his own image.
Jun Hyun-moo noted, "Now, in the lobby of SBS, the face of that desperate applicant is shining brightly as a column. The reason I work so hard in broadcasting is probably because I still remember that desperation from 20 years ago."
He then delivered the message, "Desperate dreams will come true. The reason dreams do not come true is that they are not desperate enough."
Meanwhile, the SBS program "Wow, This is Really Happening," hosted by Jun Hyun-moo, Baek Ji-young, Kim Ho-young, and Cosmic Girls' Subin, airs every Thursday at 9 p.m.
