The 26th season of 'I am SOLO' has birthed two final couples.

On the 25th, ENA and SBS Plus aired the final selections of the 26th season.

On this day, Hyun-sook felt a connection during her last date with Kwang-soo, mulling over her final choice while feeling pressured by Kwang-soo approaching her.

Eventually, Kwang-soo called Hyun-sook aside to request a conversation, and Hyun-sook expressed, "I have a few thoughts going through my mind," adding, "Kwang has been so good to me, and I know he is a good person, yet despite that I feel a barrier that suddenly makes me feel pressured at times."

Kwang-soo said, "If you feel that way, I won't push you. I just want to take care of you," stating, "When you hide behind Young-soo, I think, is this all I've accomplished?" Defconn, witnessing this, speculated, "If the other person occasionally feels pressured, it can be seen as the end."

Hyun-sook then apologized, saying, "Initially, I felt Kwang as a friend, but now I feel something more. When I am with friends, I think of Kwang as a friend, but when I act with that feeling, I realize I might feel a bit embarrassed."

Kwang-soo responded, "You mean you haven’t adjusted yet," and Hyun-sook explained, "For reference, I thought it was friendship, but I have never had a case where it became romantic in my life. That's why I feel somewhat confused as if I'm somewhere in between."

Feeling relieved by the mention of romance, Kwang-soo wrote, 'Is the final choice Kwang-soo?' This led Kwang-soo to persistently ask Hyun-sook about her final choice. Hyun-sook replied, "I’ll write it down," expressing her uncertainty in an ambiguous manner, but Kwang-soo said, "Please explain it one more time."

As time passed and it became 4 a.m., Kwang-soo, who showed no signs of leaving Hyun-sook’s side, asked her about her final choice. Defconn sighed at the scene, saying, "Kwang, just go to bed." Kwang-soo said, "I feel like I really like you, so it feels like you are accepting me. Right? You must feel something special while being with me. I hope you think this through. I will always be right here beside you."

Ultimately, Kwang-soo tried to initiate physical contact with the dozing Hyun-sook, who was avoiding him. Seeing this, Jeong-sook criticized, "Didn’t you say not to do these things?" Kwang-soo clarified, "I was just trying to help with her hair." Jeong-sook asserted, "This is also physical contact."

As it became past 5 a.m., Kwang-soo remained beside Hyun-sook, pressuring her about the final choice. Song Hae-na expressed, "I’m so tired of this," while Kwang-soo kept asking, "Final choice? Are you choosing?" as he left the room. The MCs were astonished at his relentless questioning while closing and opening the door to leave.

Meanwhile, Sang-cheol and Jeong-sook confirmed their feelings for each other, and Young-soo felt grateful for Young-sook’s confession, yet hesitated, saying, "I feel pressured about being officially a couple." Furthermore, he made remarks anticipating a blind date after the show, which disappointed Young-sook. Ahead of the final selection, a late-arriving worried Young-soo approached Young-sook. Young-sook firmly stated, "If you want to meet me one-on-one outside, then please make your final choice. I don’t want a vague relationship."

Finally, the final choices were revealed. Sang-cheol and Jeong-sook chose each other and became the final couple, while Sang-cheol appeared considerate until the end, saying, "I hope you don’t feel pressured." Meanwhile, Young-ja, Ok-soon, Young-cheol, and Kyung-soo did not make their final choices.

Amid this, Young-ho, feeling burdened by the final choice, chose not to select Soon-ja. Soon-ja felt the same way. Young-soo expressed, "I want to continue seeing Young-sook," yet he believed, "Performative actions are not necessary," deciding not to make a final choice. Young-sook also gave up, resulting in no after-meet between the two.

Despite Young-sik also giving up on the final choice, Kwang-soo unconditionally chose Hyun-sook. Ultimately, Hyun-sook chose Kwang-soo for the final selection, surprising everyone. Defconn exclaimed, "You’re doing it? Why is it surprising?" Lee Yi-kyung reacted, "Wow, it worked!"

Hyun-sook disclosed in an interview, "I fell for him. Do you find this hard to believe? I feel like I've become numb from doing it repeatedly, or perhaps it feels like brainwashing, or maybe I'm just more comfortable now."
