The 26th season participants Young-soo and Young-sook of "I'm SOLO" have ultimately failed to become the final couple.

On the broadcast aired on the 25th on ENA and SBS Plus "I'm SOLO," Young-soo was depicted feeling burdened as the final choice of the 26th season was revealed.

After the morning super date, the two met again due to the women's choice. In the moving car, Young-sook confessed, "I will select Young-soo as my final choice. You can be comfortable. You can also decide, Young-soo."

Furthermore, Young-sook honestly shared, "To be honest, I think I like you a little. I really want to care for you. I feel affection for you." However, Young-soo's reaction was a sigh rather than a response.

Young-soo said, "I will think about it, but whether or not you make the final choice, we will definitely have meals together, have coffee, and drink beer. That's basic. However, if I make the final choice, it will solidify us as a couple chosen by both sides," revealing that being solidified as a couple was still burdensome for him.

In response, Young-sook expressed through an interview, "During the final choice, you seemed to withdraw saying you would meet outside as singles. Did you say you would meet outside? I feel like you are looking elsewhere and are a bit hesitant."

Meanwhile, Young-soo caught attention by expressing excitement about matchmaking after appearing on the show. He bluntly said, "I have been receiving a lot of contacts through various routes, and acquaintances I had forgotten also contacted me, asking, 'Are you still single?'"

Defconn remarked, "Why talk about such useless things? It’s like saying something else is expected," while Song Hae-na also expressed concern, stating, "I am in a position to keep the future open." In response, Defconn shot back, "You won't receive as many contacts as you think, Young-soo. Grab her right in front of you."

Continuing, Young-soo said, "There will likely be more than one or two. We will receive contacts after going out," and upon hearing this, Young-sook bitterly replied, "Contacts will probably keep coming."

After the date ended, Young-sook said in an interview, "I regretted a lot. I feel like I have been seen too comfortably. What does he think of me?" reflecting on the previous matchmaking comment, "I think I started having doubts about the sincerity." In contrast, Young-soo displayed an ambiguous attitude, saying, "It seems to take me longer to gain certainty compared to the other person. It doesn’t have to be the same, does it? As for the level of affection."

Ultimately, Young-sook expressed her apologies to Young-cheol while sharing her worries and shed tears at Young-soo's lukewarm attitude. Young-soo, who learned late that the two were talking, went to find Young-sook but failed.

The next day, Young-sook stated to Young-soo, "If you are going to meet me 1-on-1 outside, then make your final choice, and I don’t want to meet ambiguously."

Meanwhile, the final selections of the 26th season were revealed. Jeong-sook and Sang-cheol became a couple, while Young-ja, Ok-sun, Young-cheol, Gyeong-soo, Young-ho, and Sun-ja chose to forgo the final selection. Young-soo also did not make a final choice. He expressed a desire to continue meeting with Young-sook but added, "I want to go out and date, but I think the meeting outside is merely an act of showing the final choice. I don’t think that’s essential."

Young-sook also did not make a final choice. She stated, "I have no regrets about the final choice at all. I expressed my affection honestly. In the midst of that, because Young-soo kept making me confused, I truly have no regrets at all."

In the end, as Young-sik also gave up, Gwang-soo and Hyeon-sook chose each other, leading to a reversal by becoming the final couple.
