Comedian Kwon Mi-jin shared her complex feelings two months ahead of the birth of her third child.

On the 26th, Kwon Mi-jin posted on her social account, "It has been a few weeks since I heard that the placenta is low and that I need to be transferred to a university hospital for blood transfusions and surgery."

She said, "It is impossible for me to push the placenta up myself. I just hope it rises on its own while going about my day as usual," and noted, "Although I have experienced pregnancy and childbirth twice already, I still feel fear and uncertainty lingering."

She continued, "Nevertheless, I feel truly honored and grateful to be a mother at 38 years old, just like any other family, when I look at the faces of my two children, Na-eun and Tae-eun. Today, I hold my heart firmly once again."

In response, a fan commented, "Is it placenta previa? I hope you have a safe delivery," and Kwon Mi-jin explained, "They didn't exactly say it's 'placenta previa', but they mentioned it might be difficult to have surgery at a regular hospital because it is low... I was told it needs to rise more than 2 cm. Since there's a possibility of it rising, I think they didn't say it is placenta previa yet. I hope it goes up."

The fan then shared, "I also spent months lying down last year with a possibility of placenta previa during my third pregnancy. This is a process that changes as the weeks progress, so those days might feel long for you," and advised, "Placenta previa and preterm labor go hand in hand, so be sure to rest and don't push yourself; just think of your well-being first."

In response, Kwon Mi-jin said, "Since I've never experienced placenta previa before, I’m a bit scared. Thank you for letting me know; I will be very careful."

Meanwhile, Kwon Mi-jin married a non-celebrity man in August 2020 and has one son and one daughter.
