Actress Kim Jung-nan shared her diet secrets.

On the 25th, a video titled "Kim Jung-nan's secret to maintaining 50kg for 35 years (easy-to-follow workout methods, diet routines, and binge eating...)" was uploaded on Kim Jung-nan's YouTube channel.

On this day, Kim Jung-nan visited the gym to work out. He said, "Ah, really, the thing I least want to do in the world is exercise. I don't want to do it even before starting. I really don't want to, but I have to do it to live. I have no choice."

The production team asked, "Didn’t you say you do it often?" and Kim Jung-nan replied, "Sometimes I come three times, sometimes two, and when I'm really busy, I might come just once, but I can't help it. I genuinely don’t want to do it. Today, you will see my ugliest face a lot."

In response, the production team asked, "Didn’t you work really hard to lose 5kg when we first met? Have you lost a lot?" Kim Jung-nan said, "I lost 5kg. I returned to my original weight" and added, "I lost it in just two and a half months."

After that, Kim Jung-nan exercised with his trainer and measured his InBody. He explained, "Anyway, it doesn’t show as obese. It's because there is body fat." He then asked the trainer, "I don’t eat much fat," and the trainer shot back, "Don’t you eat sugar? Like bread?" which made them laugh.

Kim Jung-nan said, "I reduced bread a lot," adding, "My body fat percentage has decreased a bit, from 29.4 to 28.5." He pulled out his past records and said, "This was when I lost 5kg last time and weighed 50kg. I gained up to 54.1kg. I even went up to 55kg. Isn’t that crazy?"

The production team asked, "Did you lose that much weight through exercise and diet?" and Kim Jung-nan replied, "Of course," revealing, "I actually want to lose just 1kg more."

The trainer advised, "You need to eat more protein," and Kim Jung-nan responded, "I should eat galbi (Korean BBQ ribs)." To this, the trainer said, "Forget galbi. Isn’t it sweet? Isn’t there delicious chicken breast?" while nagging.

However, after returning home, Kim Jung-nan ordered tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), creating a twist. He said, "Even if I work out, it seems like my metabolism has dropped, so the results aren’t showing as much. I have to work out twice as hard as when I was young, and I need to watch what I eat. But these days, lots of good products are coming out, so I want to enjoy them all while I can."

He continued, "While filming yesterday, I had to sit in a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) for hours, and I felt like my back would break. It hurt so much. There was (male) Ji-hyun in front of me, and while saying my lines, I unknowingly said, 'I wish I could be younger for just ten years.' Then the camera reading teacher and I burst into laughter."

The production team asked, "What other diets have you tried?" and Kim Jung-nan replied, "The diet I usually do is mainly intermittent fasting. I eat dinner early and leave my stomach empty until the next morning, then I eat a good lunch. That way, I lose weight. If I do exercise as well, it works."

He also asked, "How can you resist when doing intermittent fasting at night?" and Kim Jung-nan suggested, "Drink soy milk. It’s the most filling." He added, "I eat well. Sometimes when something delicious looks so tempting, I indulge a bit to relieve stress. Then I work out the next day, so that works. What’s life about? You have to enjoy delicious food. I plan to enjoy dessert today and work hard tomorrow."
