A witness account of 'inconsiderate filming' at a certain shooting site is becoming a hot topic.
On the 24th, a post titled "Filming team asking for silence in a columbarium" was posted on an online community.
The author claimed, "Today, I went to the columbarium after my grandmother's funeral, and they were filming something, a drama or something. I was just watching and thinking 'that's interesting,' when one of the staff came over and said, 'I'm really sorry, but we are in the middle of filming, could you please be a little quieter?'"
They continued, "I wasn't talking at all in the first place, and my family and relatives weren't talking loudly either. So I said, 'We're usually quiet, so don't worry,' but they asked me to pass that message to the other family members. So I said, 'Me?' and ended the conversation."
At that, the author could not hide their disbelief, saying, "If someone is crying in the columbarium, they would tell them not to cry."
In response, netizens poured out criticism, saying, "Of course, people cry in a columbarium," "They should have received filming control permission," and "Where exactly is this columbarium?" However, the author did not mention the title of the work or its location, leaving the authenticity of the post unverified.
However, reports of 'inconsiderate filming' have continued. Recently, the Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" was embroiled in controversy over staff bullying. The author of the exposé stated, "'When Life Gives You Tangerines' is notorious among extra actors for being an undesirable schedule. They even forced participants to get haircuts. Despite being a Netflix production, there was no basic support at all, and the production team was focused solely on cutting costs, reluctant to spend money on actors or participants."
In response, a Netflix-related official stated to OSEN, "Netflix is continually working to create a better production environment in collaboration with our production partners in Korea. We are verifying the facts regarding the situation at the time, and will thoroughly examine confirmed details to prevent similar cases from happening again."
