The group BABYMONSTER has heightened anticipation by releasing the first teaser featuring parts of their new song 'HOT SAUCE.'

YG Entertainment posted a moving teaser of the 'HOT SAUCE' logo on their official blog on the 24th. An interesting point is the 'HOT SAUCE' font. This is because Yang Hyun-suk, the head of YG and the creator of BABYMONSTER, paid homage to the font used on the first album released in 1992 with Seo Taiji and Boys.

In line with the concept of BABYMONSTER's new song, which foreshadows the old-school hip-hop sound of the 1980s, the font from the first album released in 1992 by Seo Taiji and Boys has been resurrected, evoking nostalgia.

BABYMONSTER has demonstrated their ability to tackle various genres with each album, showing their versatility in concept execution. There is growing anticipation for what new styles and hip-hop sensibilities across generations BABYMONSTER will unveil through their new song 'HOT SAUCE.'

BABYMONSTER will make a comeback with the pre-release single 'HOT SAUCE' at 6 p.m. on July 1. Previously, Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, noted that he prepared the new song "as a gift, hoping everyone would have a fun summer. It is an addictive hip-hop song from the mid to late 1980s,” while announcing the 2025 roadmap.

In line with that promise, they are set to perform the new song 'HOT SAUCE' for the first time in eight months and will carry out a densely packed schedule for the second half of the year. Alongside this, they will embark on their debut world tour, covering a total of 32 performances across 20 cities worldwide. They will also continue their active engagement with the release of a second single in September and a mini-album in October.
